I can imagine the reunion between Dib and his father when he got out of the asylum; it wouldn't surprise me if Membrane sent a driver to bring Dib to the labs where he'd have a small party/celebration prepared for him, while the first thing he'd say to him directly would be something like White Diamond's first words to Steven in SU:

"Hello Son, you certainly gave everyone a scare. They're all just thrilled to see you sane and fine.

As for this latest little game of yours, thanks to science it's over. Did you have fun? Did you get everything out of your system?

Good, good. Everyone is so relieved. Welcome home, Dib."

Idk, it gave me the vibes.

This is exactly how it would go, maybe he would show a bit more excitment than his usual "non-chalant" attitude that he has always shown to his kids in the show, after all this is the moment he finally can have a "normal son" in the family, a child he can finally "connect" to and be sure he will survive in society as a functional person. Gaz and Dib would definetly have a more emotional reunion since Dib, no matter the circumstances, will always worry a lot more about his little sister and will miss her. Gaz would be surprised at Dib's more educated and kind demeanor, a pleasant surprise as a first impression of his now "healthy" brother that learned to stop being a jerk in the process

It would be more fucked up if Membrane did this reunion with people that Dib may not know at all, like Membrane showing to all that "see? I'm a good father, my son is fine!"

(And with fine I mean a boy that definetly lost weight and hasn't slept in days up until now, BUT HEY, he can mantain a social interactions without acting crazy or rude, he's normal now!!)
