"How'd that happen...?" Yes, I cosplayed Rika from Pokémon Scarlet/Violet at a con last weekend. Yes, I will make another postfeaturing this costume- but I got bored of editing the more proper cosplay photos, so I made this thing instead.

The title is "A Broken Promise" The story only exists in comic form, and is also available on my deviantArt (TigerPaw90) for easier chronological reading. The post you linked only contains "page four" of the entire thing. I started drawing this comic back in 2018, so obviously it does not follow RWBY canon regarding both Cinder's and Summer's stories that were expanded on in later volumes. The comic is also not complete- yet.

New blog and future content

Hai guys! It's been a while, huh? For the past two years or so, I've been mostly focusing on improvised comics outside of my usual content and fan art. As the title suggest, I now have a secondary blog for an original series of short comics featuring mysterious cat-like serpents called "ourocats". As for RWBY-related fan content on my main blog, I do miss drawing the misadventures of Cinder Shark and friends. I may have some ideas for new strips...

I'll be back sooner later than later. :)

That Madoka mashup pic's mindblowingly elaborate. I take it the flame headed gold group are Hazel, Merc, Emmy, Neo & (Snuffed) Torchwick?

Honestly...As much as I love creating detailed backgrounds, I was a little worried that I wouldn’t be able to create anything that even remotely resembles a Madoka-style labyrinth. Thankfully the editing program I use had the exact tools I needed. I did also change a few little details here and there.

And yes, those are indeed Cinder’s allies in the background.

As the picture says, this is a coloring test for one of the early pages in my new comic project “Knight and the Morning Star”, a dark fantasy/adventure story featuring knights, demons, lesbian knights and demons... and a whole lot of strange events. I will most likely create a separate blog for this one, as it has nothing to do with my usual RWBY content. Might not be able to post the comic itself on tumblr but we’ll see.

This comic isn’t even out yet but the amount of detail is already killing me.

honestly, Tyrian is a massive mood. also, (not sure if you answered this or not, if so, I'm sorry) but how did you get the idea of what animal onesies the kids would have?

Cinder Shark started as an inside joke in a private group chat on amino. I was supposed to draw adult Cinder in a sexy shark costume but this happened instead. Emerald and Mercury don’t really have any specific reasons to be an octopus and a seahorse either. I just thought those outfits suited them best.

Roman and Neo are  a clownfish and a tri-colored koi based on their color schemes and also because I needed to make that “Finding Neo” comic.

 Ruby is a dolphin because sharks are afraid of them. Weiss is a swordfish because of her weapon of choice. Blake is a catfish. :3 and Yang is a shiny goldfish because Goldilocks.

Adam and the Lieutenant, manta and a cooked lobster, originated from their color schemes. (Adam’s lobster hood looks so derpy he refuses to wear it. He’s a “cool” kid.)

Vernal is a pufferfish for no particular reason. And Cardin... he’s basically Patrick Star. No wonder he bullies people.

I think that’s all the relevant kiddos so far. Team JNPR and Penny are next on my list. ;)
