Considering Jordan and the other spent majority of their time at work, their rare days off where spent somewhere far away from their jobs and their homes. This time they had went to a secret beach. No one ever went there, the only way Jordan knew about this place was because when he was little he would always wonder off a little to far and one day discovered the hidden beach. Since he was a kid it was his secret place. His safe place - if you will. As soon as they got off work, Jordan picked them up and made their way to the beach. They still had to climb over a few rocks to get there but they still got there and once they laid down on the sand, they had fallen asleep. Or at least Jordan did, but soon he could feel the morning sun started to hit his skin and he woke to the most gorgeous view he’s ever seen. “Morning.” He said not being able to take his eyes off the other.
Serena couldn't honestly say that her job was hard. You stand in front of a camera and pose how the photographer tells you to stand and wait for the photos to be taken. However, when she went home and sat in front of a blank piece of paper for hours. Writer's block is a bitch. It was something all writers go through and dread till the very end. 'Cause as a writer there is no other better feeling than to have so many vivid ideas that you can barely finish writing it down before another idea plopped into your head.
Though she was grateful for when Jordan had messaged her, saying today was the day they were escaping their realities. Jordan Reese. He has been an amazing friend to her, more than what she could ask for. Even though there are still some minior details he doesn't know about her, she does trust him with her life. It didn't take her long for her to pack a few extra pair of clothes, and never knowing Jordan. She packed some heels and a dress, as well as her favorite bathing suit. Usually they always reside where to a place where it was basically abandoned or just never discovered. A full day without having people around, was a relaxing - much needed peaceful day. Especially when it's just spent with Jordan.
The Russian girl was waiting for the other in front of her apartment complex, just watching the cars drive by and a few occasional person or two walking by. When he finally pulled up, a widened smiled spread across her lips and jumped in his car. Jordan wasting no time in pulling off and driving towards their destination. The ride to, wherever he was planning on going, was spent in silence. Nothing but good music blasting in the car. It was all they really needed. There was never an awkward moment between the two. Somehow no matter what was going on, the other always knew what the other was thinking.
Once they arrived it was dark and she couldn't see much, other than Jordan helping her over piles and piles of rocks and to the beach that she could smell as soon as she go out of the car. Though it was well hidden enough that if Jordan wasn't driving, she would have missed it. She knew Jordan must have been exhausted after his long day of work so she didn't keep him up, though she did stay up and watch the waves crash onto the shore. The smell and sound of the waves relaxing the girl a great deal. Soon enough she changed into her bathing suit and took a midnight swim. The water felt like it was bellow freezing, but curiosity of growing up in Russia - her body got used to the cold water clinging to her skin real quick.
When she got out of the water to dry off, she watched the sky turn dark to a lighter blue. Though it wasn't till she hear Jordan's voice behind her that the widened smile returned to her features. "Hey." She said sliding closer to him. "This place is beautiful."
