"A new region; A new threat." Times of Distortion isn't your TYPICAL Pokemon Mystery Dungeon comic (well-- I mean-- amnesiac human yada yada waa--), as it uses it's own region, lore, and even new Pokemon to fool around with! Updates until caught up with the ComicFury uploads.

So, funny story:

Currently, the device I use to draw (an Amazon Fire 7 with literally 1GB of RAM) is on it's last leg, being broken and battered in every place due to mixes of my own careless mistakes and others from my family. That is the only device I can use to draw, barring this Chromebook, and I don't exactly have a drawing tablet–in the sense that i lost the pen in this godforsaken room–meaning sooner than later, I won't be able to make art for a while.

And I KNOW a hefty part is my fault, but you need to understand, I've tried to keep it safer than it is. The main cracks came from slight carelessness in the form of me leaving it in the house with a rowdy puppy.

So, why am I explaining this?

I had wanted to start some kind of crowdfunding for me getting a better tablet, but I'm not exactly too big. I know that in all of my combined blogs, I have 70 followers here, but that's not enough to write home about, especially when it comes down to wanting something from people.

Atop that–while I do want to do ask for help in affording a better device, I barely want to sound like a brat or someone just tricking people without any promise of actually continuing the many series I do. But to lie about something like that is more harmful to me than anything else. I have the two thieves askblog to be ran, ToD, and a bunch of different ideas bottled in this dumb head of mine. If I lied about anything that big, I'd be the fool, losing the ability to share my creations with people.

I don't want to have to sit around, unable to do what I love doing.

I don't want to have to put ToD on a hiatus again, not for a reason like that.

I don't want to sound like a con artist, coming out of nowhere, asking for money, then running off with it.

So, instead of doing that—I'll ask this.

If I were to do a crowdfunding project for my tablet, even if you didn't have any money, would you support it?

Hi! Breaking the rules to say that DrawingFoxxo is a dumb idiot and forgot to queue the page when he had the time. Pokemon are not limited to 4 moves, but their moves are stronger the more used to using them they are. It's FORMAL to only use 4 moves, but pokemon don't have to.

Anyways.

Swagger and Taunt work differently, yet they're nearly the same.

Swagger (Move) Taunt an enemy directly, makes the target stronger and confuses them if the user has less levels.

Taunt (Move) Taunt an enemy directly, makes the user stronger if their stat total lower than the target, but also forces the target to use only attacking moves if that is the case.

When a pokemon's energy runs out, they run on HP instead, risking death rather than just being knocked out.

BRN can kill Pokemon if they don't faint, PSN can ONLY make a Pokemon faint. Scars created when a Pokemon is using health are permanent, other sources of harm heal off on energy.

I did infact, close the patreon. Haitus is over, but for the rest of Chapter 3 I'll be slower (i figured out that as I improved, it got harder to recreate the artstyle of the first chapter, so doing all the pages'll be hell until I'm done with it.)

Absorption (Ability) Converts power to energy (When high on HP.)

Energy =/= HP (Energy keeps a Pokemon from fainting, Health keeps a Pokemon alive.) ...I totally forgot what today was.

Move: Helping Hand - 5PU Transfer a bit of aura into a partner pokemon, heightening the power of their next attack and boosting them forward when you're close enough. Better used when you share aura types.

The heat is rising.

Chapter 3 is the first battle chapter, which is meant to help the plot... I'm actually almost done with it, too! By the time summer's over this entire chapter'll probably be publicly released.

Screw probably actually, I did the math. It'll be near done.

Chapter 3 will update on Sundays at 3:30 (PM) and Wednesdays at 12PM.

When making this chapter, I didn't know monster houses were sporadic and not just top dungeon floors. I also didn't know the top floor was the forced exit point.
