What is my biggest fear, or something to that effect:
Two things come to mind -
1. That I will never fall in love and have it be reciprocal.
2. That anything threatens my independence. I can’t rely on some of the others around me, because in some cases, they can’t support themselves. Never mind me. But in others because doing things of spire sometiese, someone I’ll pay that me.

Missing them both on this holiday.
Today I miss my main man. Who’s not <I>my<\i> man, but is MY MAN. I miss him more than words can explain. The thing is, I have no way of knowing if he misses me as much as I miss him. And I shutter to think what will happen when he sees me again. And whether or not he will be over me for leaving him with no info. It cannot be helped.
And then I also miss the man that was MY man. Until he didnt want to be anymore. The thing is, I miss him because of how he made me feel. And how I felt around him was indescribable. I felt like Mary in downton abbey. Matthew was the only one who could see her as she was, while also see her soft side. I felt that way with MY man. He wasn’t mine for long. He ultimately decided he didn’t want to be. But I’ve learned in this process now, breaking up with him was necessary. And yet even though necessary, I miss him and his touch more than words could give credit for. Sigh.
This is why I’m single, as the name sake says.
I was talking to this guy for months. I knew he and I were not compatible. Yet I kept trying to see if something would happen if I kept seeing him.
He texted recently, after weeks of not talking, being super gracious. He was truly the nicest guy. But he and I were not compatible in the ways that would justify us having a relationship. Not one of romantic and sexual internet anyway.
A shame for me. But. Ultimately for him? I truly hope he finds someone who can give him everything. He has so much to offer. And I truly believe that.

It’s been a while. But. Know.
I am not ok.
I am struggling. Mentally. Physically. Emotionally. Romantically. Financially. I am a mess. And I am afraid to tell anyone that I am so unbelievably depressed / unhappy right now. Because I shouldn’t be. But I am. My body is telling me to sit the fuck down. Maybe I should go back on the anti depressants. And see if I get better. Maybe tomorrow I will start.
Also. To the man of my dreams. My best friend. Who knows not how I feel about him. I am sorry that I am disappointing you. Truly. I am trying to better myself. By sparing you see me this way. In the dirt. Of my own making. But also. Where I can’t support you. Despite my loving you beyond words. I hope this choice to take a break doesn’t lead you to believe you’ve done something wrong. For you have done everytbing right. And I love you More than words. And even in my strongest moments, I still want you. Still need you. And I wish you were here with me. So I can hug you hard. And smell your scent. And cry on your shoulder.
May the universe grant me the ability to get through this hard time.

So, this guy who I was into, well, he friendzoned me. Not sure why. I have no assumptions, honestly. But, it hurts man. All of my dating, and all of my situationships, and all of them end in a similar fashion. I am not so much upset that he friendzoned me. I am moreso upset that I leaned into it, and I liked having him around and talking to him and sharing a bed with him. And now, now I am back to zero. Which would be fine, but got damn, do you know how shitty it is to want to share something and feel like its always just you you have to share it with? I want to feel wanted. I want to be touched. And I want to feel affection.
And now. After this, I am back on the gay dating apps. But honestly, i kind of want to give up. I don’t ever want to get entranced by a man. It hurts to feel wanted and then seem to get used to it and then have it pulled out from under you. So, I am going to give myself until the beginning of june, and then, thats it. I think im done. Let me a spinster forever. Revirginized. No mans’. But at least my heart will be protected from this terrible feeling.

I know I always write about this. But the itch, lord, the itch I have to have him in my arms. I want to smell him on me, and have him smell me on him. I want us to become a unit so bad. Its so sad how much I am simping on this man that I Know. I know! is not even remotely interested in my romantic choices. But everything about him screams to me to invest in his affection. I just want to bury myself in his armpit and enjoy his muscles on me. And call him baby when no one is looking because we both hate terms of affection.

I had an interesting dialogue today, about what it means to have sexual relationships with someone. At the core of it, the question of why I am holding out continues to come up. The truth is, I am not really holding up or our fir anything in particular. I am hoping that someone will make the experience I am hoping to have a worth while one.
Do you know how unfortunate it is to constantly be in the throws of a hook up only to realize that you are not actually into it at all? Or worse, you are not into what energy you are getting? I do want more substance. But how does one get substance in the midst of hook up culture being so prevalent?
