Rather say I play. The man I am. [gif inspired by this]
So I got some more prompts for headcanons. Today was not a good day for me, so I will answer them tomorrow. Thanks for the people taking the time, even though they stayed anon. Don't be shy, though ;)
kisses
There are times when Loki just draws back. Something little would trigger him, reminding him on his past, on the family he had lost and the fights he had fought. No words would bring him back, but the second Tony would hug him, pressing kisses along his neck and just giving him the reassurance someone is there for him, can he feel Loki relaxing and slowly coming back. They would never talk about this place Loki goes to in his mind, but it is something he had in common with Tony, something they both understand in each other; they both have their personal fights to fight.
Holiday
going on holidays always meant for Tony being gone sooner or later to do his job, and although Loki does understand why Tony does what he does, he went up locking the suit up once. it took him a bit to convince Tony to relax, telling him others would take over for this time. Tony was shocked to return back home and notice, everything was just as he had left it. The only difference was a little note, signed by Natasha, Clint and Cap as well as Bruce.
Cinema
Because of all the technology in the Stark Tower, Loki is familiar with movies and televions, that is why he is confused as Tony takes him to the cinema. That is when he feels Tony's hand on his knee and him leaning closer and all of the sudden Tony's lips seem far more interesting than the movie. Even though he can say why it is so much more intense making out at the cinema, Loki does understand why Tony likes going.
Heat
Summer in New York or Malibu can be more than just a bit uncomfortable, and although Loki likes seeing Tony sweaty, he did help him sleep at night by blowing lightly over his skin, lying close to him. In these moments, he can forget what he is and only focusing on what good it can bring to the person he holds dearest.
cuddle
Of course, someone like Tony has a soft side, so cuddling is for him a huge part. Loki, however, would never admit how much he likes being the big spoon whenever Tony would snuggle up against him, only allowing the tiniest smile whenever he thinks Tony is asleep. Little does he know, Jarvis records every little bit of it so Tony can watch it in the morning.
blue
After seeing Loki for the first time in his Jotunform, each time someone asked Tony for his favourite colour he would answer with "Blue"
Headcanon time
since I'm bored and I had a lot of fun doing this in the past, drop me a word in the ask and I will tell you my personal FrostIron headcanon about it :D
"Sweet." Tony smiled at Thor, eyes crinkling as he took the stone. “I gotcha. Don’t worry, I’ll take care of it."
Those simple words worried Thor more than he could say. For now he had to rely on Tony. "I trust you with his life and hope you won't lose yours. Be safe, my friend." With a final pat on Tony's shoulder, Thor said his goodbye and stepped outside where he disappeared.
"I don’t suppose this is the kind of thing you just leave lying around, like I could tell Loki I found it under your bed after you spent the night one time?" Tony scrunched up his face as he peered at the stone. “All right, how about this. I absolutely, whatever the circumstances, will not tell him that you brought it for him. Hey, if I’d known I could get access to Asgardian pharmaceuticals, I would have asked for this a long time ago. Say you gave it to me last month and I haven’t gotten around to studying it until now."
Thor had to think about it, wondering if Stark would keep it to himself. He had to risk it, so he nodded and handed the bag back. "This will do. Keep in mind this medicine is not for you. What I do, I do for my brother; don't use it for your own benefit." Not that Stark would care, but it was all Thor could say.
"Sorry, it’s not that I don’t trust you? Well…. Anyway. It’s more of a cultural thing, I guess. You don’t just medicate people without their permission. I’d feel like the bastard who’s putting a roofie in someone’s drink." Tony squinted at the thing. “The whole different system of values issue, again. Not that there’s that much consensus here, but still. If you want me to give this to Loki, I’m gonna have to tell him."
This time, Thor looked at the stone in his hand. Loki would never accept it knowing it was Thor giving it Stark, and there was no other reasonable answer why Stark would have it. "Say it and he will not use it. If this is your last word on it, then I have to take it back with me. Loki cannot know it was me..."
Tony frowned at the cloth baggie in his hand. “What is it? I can’t just feed a dude drugs without telling him or knowing what they are."
To prove Tony he had nothing to fear, he took the cloth baggie back and opened it. As he took the little stone out of the bag, he looked straight at Tony. "This is a healing stone. Very common in Asgard." He broke a bit of and put it in his mouth. Thor knew it would have no effect on him, but he couldn't believe he had to proof Stark he didn't want to do Loki any harm. "Test it if it makes you feel better."
Tony gave a resigned, skeptical look. “Wish he would have. He decided to go for a walk in Central Park and some drunks saw ‘im. But Jarvis and I have got a pretty good handle on it, right J?" he asked the air.
"There is as yet no mention on social media of his appearance, and only a handful of your rather higher profile journey over the park."
"Yeah, I kinda got the feeling they were past the point of believability. Who sees a blue guy and starts pushing him around instead of asking what he is or whether he wandered off from the Blue Man Group cast trailers? So it probably won’t be an issue, unless there’s more to it than that. I really wish I knew more about the different types of magic involved here. There’s more in heaven and earth, Horatio, and all that." Tony gave him a pointedly gleeful look, his eyes shining with the possibility of things to be learned. “Believe me, I have no trouble with him sticking around. Got a couple of uses for him, too." He chuckled dryly. “And what he does best? Maybe you still know what that is, but he sure as hell doesn’t. So I’m not sure anyone can really say what he’ll get up to when he decides where to go from here."
Stark took this too lightly, and so Thor tried again. "He played with us, used us for his liking. You shouldn't be too confident about what you know and what not when it comes to him." As Tony mentioned he had some use for Loki, Thor frowned. "You do not seem to concerned, but I am. I did worry about his state and brought something from Asgard." He untied a little sachet from his belt, handing it Stark. "He seemed well fed and healthy. Yet, be so kind adding some of this to his meals or water. It helps healing his wounds." Even though Thor couldn't be sure if helping Loki regaining his old strength was a good idea, he wanted to believe it was. "I do have to return soon, before my abscence will be noticed, but know I will be there in case you need my help."
"Crashed through my window." Tony shrugged. “Didn’t seem too pleased to see me or Big Green, so I don’t think it was intentional." He frowned at Thor. “You’re saying Odin can find him, just because he’s gone a little blue? How?"
"Banner is with you?" Thor asked surprised, but was pleased at the same time; it made sure someone was in control of the situation. It took him a moment to think about Tony's question. "Your world is different than ours. You eye your own kind suspiciously if they diverge from the norm. Having Loki running free will cause alarm and my father has his eyes and ears all over the Nine Realms. Whatever changed Loki, it has to be undone. Loki will know just as much." Now that Thor thought of it, he was rather sure to have a small idea why he was still with Stark. "He will use you. He will stay for as long as it will take for things to be as they were, before he will leave and do what he does best."
Tony nodded. “Right. For now, I agree. Not making any promises, though." He contemplated Thor. “For the sake of argument, what kinds of things do you think Odin will be looking for? Because we’re obviously running completely different value systems here; I’m not willing to assume that I have a reliable bead on what he’s gonna think is good and responsible behavior."
"No one knows what Loki is up to next. Father will be looking for any sign that Loki will pick up where we stopped him, gathering an army, looking for allies to achieve his goal, whatever this might be." For a moment he stopped, watching Tony carefully. "His Jötun form could lead him right to this place. The only reason why I came to you was in hopes you already had found him. Tell me, what had brought him here?"
