And off into the distance he went, running pretty fast for someone with short legs.He only stopped once he reached a crosswalk. Remember kids, look both ways before crossing the street.
Peacock let him run, chuckling to herself as she exited stage left...
And one short-hop through space later casually pulled up to the streetlight next to the guy in her car, leaning over at him with a devilish expression.
“Ya got a helluva lotta work to do then, don’cha?” She said, her grin spreading so wide it threatened to split her face. “C’mon, buddy! Why you gotta play hard to beat up? Who needs a fight later, when you can have one now? Courtesy of me? No charge!”
“Ack—I don’t actually wanna fight anyone right now! I was just practicing, so I can sound intimidating later! B-being scary and impressive is half the battle, right?!”
“Whaaat? Get back here! No take-backsies, ya damn chicken!”
“Seriously! Practice is what th’ bathroom mirror’s for--an’ maybe ya shoulda stuck to it, too! On a scale from ‘one’ to ‘scary’, I’d put you at about... ‘kitten’. But that’s too bad--you put yerself out here, pal! Now deal wit’ it!”
“Fight me!”
To any normal passerby, the scene before them would look like a normal child yelling at a normal brick wall. To anyone else, the scene would still look like a normal child yelling at a normal brick wall. The explanation for this was simple: that was exactly what was happening.
“Finally, someone in this dump town what speaks my language!”
“So, ya want yer ass whoopin’ fer here, or to go?”
“Seems like th’ action’s really slowed down, huh? Gee, what a downer. An’ it was so chaotic th’ past few days! T’be honest, I’m gettin’ a li’l bored.”
“Say--you don’t look like a complete pushover. Yer from th’ flipside, ain’t’cha? Call it a hunch. Or maybe it’s just th’ blood on ya y’didn’t quiiite get t’wipe off.”
“What, thought somebody wasn’t gonna notice? Too bad, pal--ya got me! And now that I got’cher attention... What say you’n me get to dancin’, partner?”
Yaaay it’s event 10 for Peacock! Jumping into the action a bit late on her, but it took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do. So, here we are.
Homeworld Peacock, AKA Wow This Chick Is Batshit
That crazy cyborg piece of shit y’all know and love. She doesn’t really take sides in this war; the way she figures it, if her Hive wins then she just gets to stick around--and if they lose, either she goes home or she just gets to be dead and therefore won’t even have a reason to worry or care because she’d be dead, so whatever.
Her main issue is taken with people--from either side!--who are using the war as an excuse to torture, take advantage of others, et al. Being a soldier and fighting for survival is one thing--being a sadist is another. She might not be sane, but that doesn’t mean she’s not without a sense of justice.
This said, it’s also a chance for her to get in fights with some actually worthy adversaries; she’s raring to go mano-a-mano with the worst of either Hive, get some blood on her weird robot hands, all that jazz. She doesn’t bother with bullying the weak--why take on the small fry when you can beat on the bigwigs? She’d rather cherry-pick the strongest out there to fight so she can assert her dominance.
Alternate Peacock, AKA Not Actually Peacock
A normal as heck girl named Patricia Watson; that is, Peacock minus three years. (Puberty does some amazing things to people, doesn’t it?) The version of her in the alternate city is just Peacock prior to becoming Peacock, back when she was just some no-name kid trying to survive the anarchy of postwar No Man’s Land.
This being her before Some Truly Horrible Things happened to her, Patricia is a great deal more rational and less erratic than her older counterpart, though this isn’t to say she’s any less sassy, cocky, or rude. She also has normal eyes and arms and no Parasites or cool powers whatsoever.
That said, she’s a pretty dedicated survivalist, and has managed damn well at it for her age, especially considering that she’s a reckless dumbass. Patricia is really pretty much powerless against her circumstances, but she’s got that youthful delusion of invincibility going strong. Weak? Yes. (Though she’ll never admit it.) Confident? Oh, absolutely.
She’s fearless despite how woefully outmatched she is against 90% of the rest of the population here; she’s armed herself with a couple firearms (that she has no idea how to use properly), but that’s really all she has in terms of defense. Mostly she’s just sticking it out back at home base so far, watching the sparks fly where she can’t reach.
I’ll probably write a drabble between regular and alt P here, but aside from that I don’t know that there’s much people would want to do with normal non-cyborg baby not-peacock peacock here. If you do want to, though, hit me up!

Unluckily for Peacock, Yasuo was wearing a fundoshi and once she tried yanking it upward from behind, it unties itself and is completely yanked free. He just turns around and shoots Peacock a glare.
It also doesn’t help that Yasuo hasn’t properly bathed in months since he left Daylen’s mansion. IT SURE SUCKS TO BE PEACOCK.
“….”
“… Can I have that back now? Or do you plan on keeping it.”
...Well, that’d been a grave mistake.
“Dude...! Y’can keep it, nastyass!” And she threw the disgusting little article straight back at the guy’s face.
“It smells like y’took a sweaty shit in this rag, ugh! Y’ever heard ‘a this magical thing called a shower, pal? ‘Coz I’m thinkin’ you ‘n th’ concept ‘a bathin’ need a li’l introducin’!”
“Like hell they are!” Of course, Mike really can’t do much about this - any sort of movement would make everything worse, and from the looks of it she wasn’t letting go. And the slightest ripping noise wasn’t making him any more at ease.
“Is this some kinda joke? What did I do to you?”
First the spoiled milk, now this. There seems to be a pattern here in the Hive for one Mike Chilton.
“Oh, I don’t think so--” She held all the power here, pal! Struggle too much, and that elastic wasn’t gonna hold out forever! That shit-eating grin spread impossibly wide.
“What didja do? I’ll tell ya what ya did--y’happened to be here! Heh heh heh heh!”
Just to put the pressure on (and for kicks), the girl made good on her threat, balled the cloth up in her fist and yanked.
Well that made his day.
And there Yasuo was laughing his ass off watching poor Mike getting his boxers yanked out from behind.
his face was priceless.
Peacock had all those eyes for a reason--she sees you havin’ yer li’l giggle-fit over there! She also has two hands for a reason--her free hand reaches through a portal and directly behind her onlooker, and with practiced finesse, that dinnerplate-sized hand darts straight under the guy’s belt-line and yanks.
“Enjoyin’ yerself now?” ‘Cause she sure as hell was!
Well, that was unexpected. Cue Mike yelling and flailing his arms the whole time, failing to get the strong robot arms off his boxers.
“What the fuck was that for!?” He quickly tries to readjust, hands fumbling with his belt. “Do I even know you!?”
“Who are you and what do you want with my pants!?”
Oh, joy, that was golden--
“Noooope! I’m yer worst nightmare, Box-Bum!" Her grip on his underpants did not lessen--if anything, tightened. "Now reach f’the sky, or these babies’re comin’ right off!”
Wiggly fingers, wiggly fingers, wiggly fingers--
“WEDGIE TIME!”
“Annie would be nothin’ without me! She needs me!”
“…wait, aren’t you like 8 years old or somethin’? No thanks, I’ll pass on that one.”
“...I’m fourteen, ya dumb sack ‘a shit! I’m a goddamn tween!”
“Anywho--need I remind ya which one’a youse got a crazy popular show what’s been goin’ strong fer ages, and which ‘a you is a two-bit chump whose hype died out like, a decade ago? Seriously, izzat a gut I see? Yer makin’ me sad just lookin’ at ya, dude.”

“Show’s got good ratings! It’s got me and Annie of the goddamn Stars in it!”
