so far I’ve had two wildlife rescues, first a galah then an eastern long-necked turtle. seeing our animals be killed and injured by vehicles breaks my heart - i wish people would see how similar we are to them and show some compassion. i pray for the day people start treating all living things with the respect they deserve regardless of species
