Black Circle Wizards' Headcanons ♡ Answered
Ok so the funny thing is, I was literally drawing my Oc that I ship with Anagan when this notification for this popped up as June 26th is her canon birthday (and I will be posting the drawing by the way so get ready for an introduction of her 🤫🤫🤫) so this question is PERFECT for today. Also I loveeee talking about this so let's get into it ✧
Anagan: ♡
✧ Love Language:
I have SO MUCH written about anagan and his love languages due to my OC x canon with him, I also have one off interactions he does with my OC so I might add them on a separate post to do with her as I don't want this whole post to be abt her but more general things I see Anagan doing.
I like to think Anagan is the most affectionate Wizard but he's still very cold and not the nicest which really says a lot about the other wizards 😭 To start with, he isn't a very lovey dovey person so you won't find him being all romantic 24/7 but he'd have his small tiny moments where he's being sweet and over time, he'll open up more when he decided that the relationship was real and not just a short experience. He LOVES to tease people though, especially the person he's dating, they slightly mean though but charming in a way, a slight tinge of flirting occasionally.
He 100% keeps a list of pickup lines to use, like really cringy ones he overheard a human say.
He's also pretty selfish in general so it rubs off onto whoever he's dating, for example (I'm so so so so so sorry for mentioning her so much, I just love her 😭) my OC who I pair with Anagan is vegetarian but anagan would completely ignore that just so he was able to go to a BBQ restaurant for a date and get what he wants while leaving his partner to not eat just cause he wanted BBQ. He just seems like a person to always put himself first and but he pretends he's really thoughtful and that's his love language.
He also steals stuff to gift whoever he's dating, I think all the wizards like to steal stuff but due to his speed he gets away with stealing stuff a lot and he's also the only one who uses the stuff he steals to gift people compared to the others who keep it to themselves. They are not very thoughtful though, he does it more for his ego cause he thinks he's so amazing for getting away with all his thieving but over time, the gifts will get slightly more personal for his partner and less random and more fitting for whoever is recieving it.
✧ Pronouns and Sexuality:
I like to think Anagan is bisexual, he would totally go for any gender and I like to think he's he/him pronouns but you'd see him dressing feminine occasionally like wearing dresses, skirts and whatever people class feminine, whatever makes him feel pretty.
Gantlos: ♡
✧ Love Language:
I personally believe Gantlos is asexual so he isn't really into the whole sexual side of relationships and I also believe like Anagan, he doesn't show his feelings much at all, they reserved for people they are really close to and not just anyone nor do I think he'd ever want to be in a relationship either due to being busy and just isn't interested in dating even if it's queerplatonic so I'm gonna instead talk about how he acts with people he's closed to platonically. (Creds to my friend Pom for the asexual headcanon.)
Gantlos does favours/tasks for people he's close to compared to people he isn't, you're a normal friend of Gantlos and need him to do a favour for you? Forget about it, he isn't even gonna pay attention. You're a close friend/best friend and need a favour? He'll do it asap.
They talk a lot more to people they are close to compared to just anyone, normally they are very quiet and pretty cold but if you gain his trust, he'll talk to you more and tell you stories about his life and all his adventures.
I like to think he's a really big smoker (once again creds to Pom for the idea 🩷) and he woudnt share their cigarette they were smoking at the time but they'd share an unlit one they weren't using/used if someone they were closed to wanted one but they'd stop sharing if they keep taking his cigarettes.
✧ Pronouns and Sexuality:
Like I said before, I believe he's Asexual, he just radiates it, I also believe they have he/they pronouns but I'm thinking about changing them a bit in the future when I work on Gantlos more. Like anagan, he also dresses feminine quite often, all the wizards do in my eyes.
Duman: ♡
✧ Love Language:
I believe Duman is ace like Gantlos but I also see him open to being in a queerplatonic relationship and he's biromantic (lovely headcanon once again by my friend Pom, he inspires me a LOT for the sexualities of wizards) so I'll talk about how Duman would act in Queerplatonic relationships.
Duman is just a very aggressive person and is pretty volatile so their relationships don't last long at allllll but they do have some love language signs like for example, if they are in a bird form, they would land on whoever he is close to (relationship wise) as he knows they won't just throw him off and he feels comfortable to perch on them.
They would shapeshift if someone they were close to needed something that could be done with shape shifting like pretending to be someone to sabotage someone that Duman is close to, hates.
He also likes to just do stupid party games like truth or dare and twister to pass the time with people he doesn't mind in his personal space.
✧ Pronouns and Sexuality:
My headcanon like said before is they are biromantic ace and their pronouns are he/she/they as I like to think they are gender fluid and I like to think they shapeshift different genders quite often like one time, their a feminine form, next their more masculine then next there androgynous, depends how their feelings at the time.
Ogron: ♡
✧ Love Language:
I said this in my Ogron headcanons post but I like to think Ogron has a ex husband from a queerplatonic relationship he had before he became an official fairy hunter and black circle wizard and it ended due to his selfishness so Ogron has some pretty bad love languages.
Ogron is a very very cold man and will never let his boundaries down unless he's very close with someone where he starts to do tiny, sometimes unnoticeable acts of affection like for example, he'll act slightly softer towards people he likes, he still expects perfection but he'll be slightly softer and let people slack a bit.
Another example is, he'll let them nearer to him and let them sit around him when he's relaxing, when his guard is more down the casual like when he's reading in his chair, he'll allow people to sit on the chair next to him or be around him. He'll of course still constantly peak at them, making sure they are not doing anything suspicious but it's still and upgrade.
He used to let his ex husband braid and brush his hair for him and he'd do the same for his husband's hair but after the divorce, he no longer lets people touch his hair nor does he touch other people's hair now but he used to. Maybe one day he'll do it again if he finds someone he feels just as connected to as he felt with his ex...
For a side note, Ogron wants to keep all close relationships he has secret as he just doesn't like them being public at all, in general none of the wizards talk about their relationships ever or sexual orientations but Ogron took it to the next step and kept all his ones completely hidden.
✧ Pronouns and Sexuality:
In my mind, Ogron is Aroace demi and is open to queerplatonic relationships but he's not actively searching for one as he's still not over his divorce I gave him even centuries later. His pronouns are he/him but like the others, he has a slight feminine side to him.

Do y'all ever wonder how much crime goes off in the Winx universe due to magic and really powerful weapons existing like,
Imagine going out at night and being held at gunpoint by a lethal magic spell, does not sound fun.
Also, it would be really easy to steal from stores less they have powers in the way to stop that like magic cancellation on certain items like a security tag.
Also imagine how much murder, drugging and poisoning happens cause how easy it is to get potions as it's literally a lesson in multiple of the schools on how to make potions that can harm people that literal beginners can make them.
There has to be some kind of extreme law to stop this or this would be an insane place to live and one of the top 10 lethal neighbourhoods😭

I cannot be bothered to give full context to people who r reading this and don't know Gregory but long story short, he's a temporary recruit of the Black Circle wizards and Cindy was his girlfriend.
Starting with Cindy, she was kinda boring I can't even lie, she was such a background character.
Like, one of her first scenes in the comics is her learning to use magic with the Winx and her accidentally dropping Kiko (Cindy is one of the earth girls who got magic after the Winx returned magic to earth) and HONESTLYYYY, her design is sooo basic.
She's just a Bo Peep reskin and could look way better and have a design like Roxy that actually has details but instead, she's just a stereotypical background design with nothing to look at even though she has a whole comic based on her and multiple comics with her as a main background character.
She then completely forgets about her boyfriend which, understandable I GUESS cause she was training but still, if you know your gonna be busy that day then maybe don't schedule a date, that's just me though.
Cindy then catches up Gregory at Frutti music bar while late for their date and obviously Gregory is mad 😭 and honestlyyyy, I kinda understand Gregory here as Cindy hasn't even bothered to explain what's going on even though she claims it's really important to her, theys zero communication so I'm not surprised Gregory is mad, his time got completely wasted without any warning and by what he's said, most likely happened loads.
Like, I personally believe Cindy is kinda in the wrong for completely leaving Gregory out of the loop then acting annoyed when he's mad, it's kinda scummy so #JusticeForGregory. Communication could solve this all. And yes, of course Cindy will be overwhelmed with her new magic and wanting to discover it more with people she trusts but she still could keep Gregory in the loop and not schedule dates when she knows she's busy and will just ditch him.
Also talking Gregory, I really hateeeee his casual outfit, it's so ugly, his black circle wizard outfit was way better.
Right after the Gregory and Cindy scene of them bickering, I'm assuming Cindy ex rolls up and by this text Cindy's ex says, it also low-key hints Gregory and Cindy just got together so like???? She's already completely failing on communication even though the relationship just started 😭
Skipping around a bit more, Gregory is a very grey character, on one hand he's under a lot of stress and feels like he's being replaced and left behind but then he says stuff like this which is kinda giving guilt-tripping and it icks me a bit, he's very grey, I can't decide if I'm against him or with him. I can decide that I HATE his clothes though oh my god
Skipping a bit more again, he's been training with the wizards and like, if I see correctly, he's got superspeed? Which, I wasn't aware that's something you can just teach a beginner like damn, new lore dropped. Also I'm completely ignoring what Ogron is saying about teleporting cus that's not what was drawn 😭 He was running.
I honestly feel like Gregory deserves a cooler power then superspeed though like, I understand his power won't be unique currently as he's currently a beginner and only magic he knows is the one he's been taught by the wizards but still, something unique would be cooler and he doesn't really scream superspeed wizard to me. I also wish his magic colour was a dark purple or dark blue shade and not green cause no where in his colour pallete is green ever featured so it's very random and it contradicts him.
You could say it's green cus it's what he was taught but none of the Black Circle wizards have green magic either and Gregory had green magic before meeting them so what's going on there 🤨
In the end then, he dumps Cindy and walks off alone which, I wonder what the hell he did after all this cause we never see or hear from him again?? Is he dead, did he move cities, did he even get back with Cindy, I'm so curious, also, did he resume training his magic cause I hope he did, he was so strong, he literally tore a city street apart just by his anger and that's quite a LOT for a beginner, not even bloom as a beginner could do that.
I like to think he got back in contact with the council wizards the Winx set him up with earlier in the comic before the Black Circle wizards got him, and he went under their wings to become a wizard in Magix, I think he deserves that life just like Cindy got to be a full fledged fairy and got to go to Alfea.

Im so hit and miss with Gregory honestly, he's so grey but then he also got manipulated by the Wizards so idrk how to feel, I know a lot of the fandom dislike him though for replacing Duman which, I personally think that's a crap reason for disliking a character when he doesn't even know Duman exists, theys other reasons to dislike him but yeah 😭
Then Cindy, I want to like her but I just find it icky how she kinda acted towards Gregory, she's obviously not ready for another relationship when she knows she's very busy and emotionally unavailable and I would prefer if she weren't with someone and instead fully focused on her magic, not hurt someone's feeling while focusing on her magic. She also really needs a better design, both her and Gregory do, holy moly.
But yeah, that's how I feel about them two, I'm sad though Gregory never appeared again cause we really need more male characters with magic in Winx who ain't exactly villains, more misunderstood I guess. Cindy can go away for all I cared about though, she's so insanely boring but featured in more comics before and after this so damn.

1. For my headcanon design of Anagan, he has snake bite piercings on his lips, has a giant scar on his right arm and has two tattoos on his left arm that he loves to flex.
2. He's 100% sooo attached to his jacket, he just always wears it whenever he can and refuses to take it off and hates when other ppl touch it or try to wear it, he coudnt care less if it's stained or not, he's not taking it off. He also just doesn't bother changing clothes often to save 'time'.
3. He gets soooo embarrassed when he gets hurt to the point it's obvious he's in pain cause he thinks people will see him as weak.
4. He has SUCH a specific taste for what he likes in people romantically, like, his type of things he looks in people to date starts normal and basic then it slowly starts getting very specific and detailed.
5. He mostly uses nicknames/petnames for people cause he both just likes it and also likes watching people get annoyed by the names he's chosen for them and second, he can't be bothered to remember people's names after centuries of meeting people so he just uses nicknames.
6. He's the most obnoxious gym bro EVER, he judges everyone's gym routines and fully believes his is the only good one and he just judges and judges and constantly says condescending stuff and 'jokes' to people while they workout to throw them off cus he enjoys it. He also mostly lives off protein bars cus he's too busy to eat. He does that in general though, he's just so condescending and just gains pleasure from just feeling better than everyone else cause #ego. (He hates when people do it back to him though.)
7. He just randomly does backflips and handstands for no reason at all, mostly just to flex his strength, he just loves the attention and just feeling AMAZING but deep down, he's just ashamed of who he is without magic, he prides himself off being this powerful wizard but can't even imagine or think about himself without magic cause how will he prove his greatness now, how will people take him seriously anymore without his powers, he can't be the best anymore without magic. He'd be fine psychically without magic but mentally he'd spiral BADDD.

Okay so, now that we think of it, WE REALLY DONT TALK ABOUT THE WIZARDS POWERS AND THEIR POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS, cause we keep giggling and bro, earth magic feels rough and even more mysterious than magix's, that makes me curious.
You said that Ogron's absorption powers could affect him in his everyday life, specifically when he drinks alcohol (which is funny and logic).

Ok SO, I was coming on to post some Anagan headcanons before I saw this so that's funny but anyway, yes, I've thought of this before and I LOVE talking about it sooo, let's start answering.

Starting with my favourite, Anagan, idrk if this counts as a side effect but he 100% just cannot relax at all, his powers being based on the physical aspect of him in my eyes also boosts his stamina and energy more then the others and just makes him not being able to rest or sit down without fidgeting a lot or having to move and it gets ANNOYING after a while. He's constantly tapping tables or running on the spot or just having to speak and it really annoys everyone around him (I have an OC x canon with Anagan and oh my god, he drives my OC insane with his energy that idk how they are still together) making people just dislike being around him, it also harms him as like, sometimes he just wants to sit down and relax after a long day but instead his body just won't let him and it keeps him up at night, really ruining his sleep. He also crashes way harder compared to the others and normal people if his energy gets lower as he relies on it so much.
Another side effect is just the fact he can't wear normal shoes or normal clothing without them just being destroyed after running so he has to get everything custom made and like, it's just a hassle having to do that for every single thing he wants to wear. Like, let bro wear his chiikawa merch in peace 🥹

Moving onto the blondie gramps himself, aka Gantlos, the first side effect is the fact he just has some absolute horrible muscle aches with all the bashing around he does with the sonic stumps and so on like, just over time, his body started just aching and cramping a LOT. Like think about it, he's constantly stumping his feet and clapping that over the centuries he's been alive, fighting, it's gonna start really wearing him down, it also makes his skin just really dry, cracked and scarring easily, also bruises too. He also slightly has difficulties walking due to so much pressure on his legs over time as unlike Anagan, his magic doesn't boost his energy and physical resilience so he gets more pain. Also headaches too and his eyes are also hurting due to his tracking powers really also wearing them down. Long story short, blondie is not doing well for pain, he tries to numb it though using his magic but it then makes it worse over time as he's using his powers more so 😭

Finally then is Duman and like, he SUFFERS. He 100% has horrible identity issues due to how much they shapeshift that now he doesn't even remember what his original form is (this part is an idea from a friend of mine so thank them for this part), his form shown in the show isn't the real him as he's shapeshifts so much over the centuries that their original identity got lost on the way also cause he would use his shapeshifting powers to hide all his scars and damage to look stronger in a way but now, it's all just a shell of who they was and deep down, he's a mutated monster with such horrible scarring and damage that even if he knew how to change back, he never would want to, he hates that part. So yeah, TOTAL identity issues it's wild, soz Duman.
He can't control his shapeshifting either sometimes due to him doing it so much that sometimes, it just slips up, especially when his defenses are lowered like times they are sleeping or so on. That's also why when he was losing his magic around the end of Winx season 4 is why he kept shifting to random animals so much, at least that's how I see it.

1. In my eyes, he's TOTALLY divorced, he 100% had a queerplatonic (I headcanon him to be ace and demi so yh) marriage before he got into the Black Circle Wizards and it 100% ended cause of something he did. He's so divorced dad core. (Tysm to my friend pom🍮 for his help with this headcanon ^^)
2. To do with the divorce, he NEVER told Anagan or Duman about his past relationship cause he knew they would tease him forever cause of it, he also just doesn't like opening up about his feelings, he finds them dumb.
3. He doesn't like rollercoasters. Why? I just think he'd be so sensitive to really fast moving objects that shake and he'd just feel ill as hell.
4. He has such an insane shampoo hair care routine it's wild.
5. He's not the biggest drinker but when he does, he gets drunk so quickly due to his absorption powers absorbing it way quicker than a normal body.
6. Never got really along with his parents, he grew up being raised by nannies so he never really formed a connection to his parents.
7. Can't stand whenever Anagan would talk about random crap, drove him insane to the point he learnt a spell just to block out sound so he didn't have to listen anymore

I have issues cause why am I so obsessed with the fact that Anagan muttered the words ''Look at these cutie pies" in such a menacing voice directed at like two cats in episode 5 of the Nickeloden Dub, like that scene with the Wizards in love and pets. Like??? IM SORRY? I just never believe that the word 'cutie pie' would be in Anagan's or ANY of the wizards catalogue of words they would use.
This is such a small detail but it means the world to me cause one really delusional headcanon I have with Anagan is the fact he just loves cats. He also says a similar thing in the cinelume dub of like ''cute little creatures'' 🥹🥹🥹 ilysm anagan cause your so stupid in such a funny way.
