Playing pretend never gets old. When we’re adults, we tend to limit it to daydreaming, but when we’re kids? We interact with our environment and pretend to be our heroes and favorite characters. Tree branches become lightsabers, or a trash can becomes a perfect substitute for R2-D2′s body. Everything is about playing. Artist Craig Davison captures those moments perfectly with his shadow series.

I sleeved our Battle Line cards and they no longer fit in the box insert. This is the start of my new insert. It still needs to be glued together, then the top piece needs to be cut.

Just finished playing Galaxy Trucker. We all lost, badly. Probably due to using the entire deck of 2 & 3 cards each respective round. Still had a blast watching our ships fall to pieces after relentless pirates, combat zones and Meteor Swarms.
