Let's talk about Transgender Flag Day on August 19th! It was the day of the flag's creation by Monica Helm in 1999, and it is the date of the Smithsonian Museum's acceptance of the trans flag in 2014.

In 2024, Transgender Flag Day is the night of a full supermoon, titled the Sturgeon Moon by the Farmer's Almanac.
