there was a bunch of people I know who were ecstatic about hyuna and e'dawns confirmed relationship, and I’m so happy for them. but a part of me grew nervous, and it stemmed from me observing how Korean fans have an insane amount of control and influence in groups activities and support. I saw what they did to super junior last year when one of their members married. what would they do to a group that’s barely two years old? the whole thing sucks. international fans are so happy and supportive. Korean fans aren’t, the mass majority have returned fan meeting tickets, concert tickets, and have even ended triple h promotions days early. e'dawn can’t even join the unibirthday. cube needs to do a better job at managing their idols and groups because what spurred this on was them saying that dawnie and hyuna weren’t in a relationship, and both dawnie and hyuna felt uncomfortable lying and so they shared private information about their relationship. the fact is, it’s no one’s business. but it’s a shame fans are so upset because, god forbid, their idol is happy in life right? and not some miserable, but attainable puppet for them to lust after. pentagon members and hyuna are being treated horribly, and all they’ve done is been at the receiving end of bad management and Korean fans disliking the thought of their fantasies of dating their bias being gone.

just rember, dawnie and hyuna revealed their relationship status to us because they didn’t like that their agency lied to the fans, when it would have been so easy to continue on with the charade that they weren’t dating. this speaks volumes of both of their characters and their love and respect for their fans.

maybe it’s time to focus on things more important than two people being in love.
