I want to know more about Rosie and iris so bad!!!!!!!!!!! They look like such cool characters, I love the vibes of what I have seen :) I read the wiki articles but I’d love to know more about their personalities and relationship!

They're both characters for a bit of a dream project of mine- an animated miniseries, four or so episodes, following an inhumanly popular band throughout their career, and their struggles with fame and personhood. Rosie/May is their lead singer-songwriter and the rest of the characters here, Iris and Abe and Maisy and Miika, are all their backing band.
By the time the story starts, May Chapman and The Ages has reached such a peak in popularity, and enough chatter has been spread around about May's transcendental abilities, that she's integrated into her local church and crowned a saint.
Rosie and Iris are the primary relationship in the story, they're very deeply in love with each other but their setting doesn't fully allow them to just be. Rosie's kind of in her own world, she wants to take her title seriously and do good to those who follow her but it of course crowds her vision to those immediately next to her. Iris is a major grounding presence in her life, she helps her feel a bit more human again, but doesn't exactly feel like she's able to help quite enough to get Rosie back.
