5 days ago, sitting on a prairie in the mountains of Southern China. I remember thinking to myself, “This place is so beautiful! I am now Laura Ingalls in China. I feel like rolling around in the grass (ok there’s horse poop all around, not a good idea). FIsdfsfDSfdawe!!KF!!! (excited thoughts). I am so ridiculously happy right now.” Ahhh China, you have been amazing.

Dad going in for the kill at Custer State Park. We pulled over by the side of the road to take photos. I gravitated towards the snow and was gleefully playing with it when my dad threw a snowball at me. Snow in my face, in my eyes, on my back, in my pants. Fun was had.
