Tucker felt his pride grow ten times once he saw Oak's reaction. He wanted this to be special, and even if Oak didn't want to do anything at the end of the night, that'd be okay with him. "Yeah, the boys will get over it eventually. I have them covering for me, I owe them all lunch tomorrow." Tucker laughed, although he knew it was well worth it. But there was more reason for him switching his phone off, specifically a Ben reason. The guy had been sending him dirty pictures of himself, saying he started his heat. Just the fact he was able to ignore it, spoke volumes to how much he was putting into Oak. "I just want it to be us, no interruptions." Tucker shrugged and pulled Oak closer to him. He liked him, a lot more than he wanted to admit. When Oak spoke up about how happy he was, Tucker relaxed. "I'm glad, this is about as fancy as my wallet gets. Part time at the station isn't very luxurious." Tilting his head down he gave Oak's head a kiss. If he could just get through the night without making an ass of himself, he'd be amazed. "I just thought it'd be romantic to go back to the place where we kinda hit it off." Tuck teased, wrapping his arms around Oak's waist. "Plus you said this was your get away place, and I just wanted to get away from everything down there." He pressed another kiss to his head, noticing the lemony scent on him. Tucker felt incredibly protective over the younger omega. "Don't think we have to do anything, okay?" He said softly, his hands rubbing Oak's arms in some attempt to get that out in the open in a not creepy manner.
"I didn't know what kind of food you liked. So I just went with Italian, cause no one hates Italian." Pulling the basket towards him, he opened it up and started pulling out container after container. "And then I couldn't decide what you might like so I just ordered all the stuff they recommended in hopes something might strike your fancy. We have pasta and salad. I even grabbed a little pizza." And of course he didn't know what toppings Oak liked so he did half cheese and half peperoni. He kind of spent a fortune and in all honesty he probably could have taken him out. "I hope you'll like something at least. Or we could just go back down and pick something else up." Fuck, he really liked Oak and he really wanted him to like him just as much. "I hope this is at least at par with the other dates you've heard about." Tucker flushed and nervously rubbed the back of his neck. This was his first time doing something like this too, so his nerves were getting the best of him. "But really, if you don't want this we can head back and get something else." He quickly repeated, nervously waiting for Oak to say something.
