There was no time to question it- you bolt and run to the krogan with the way out, simple as that. Or it would have been if Lucky was on her feet. Lantar wasn’t just going to leave her there and hope she could follow as fucked up as she was. He crouched down and did his best to get his arms around her and heft her up to her feet.

She could feel his arms and the sensation of being lifted but not much more. Suddenly finding herself upright displaced her blood pressure and she finally passed out. Quickly making her dead weight.

Seeing this made Garuk grind his teeth. Fuck. Bellowing a low war cry as he set his railgun to overdrive. Making sure that any mercs were either dead or inside before running to just scoop up the both of them and running to his shuttle. All but slamming his elbow into the switch to tell the VI autopilot to book it out of here before he would set them down and head over to shut the damn door before someone flew out.

It's not a very well known fact but Lucky gets airship sick on take offs, relay jumps, and landings. Because of this, she's often found sticking to one or two people so she can always know when those are when on a ship and be directed to a barf bag.

Time. He could do that. When the first batarian stuck their head out around the corner Lantar blew a hole in it and the gun battle was on in earnest. Which was pretty shitty for them, being as they were one guy with a concussion and one woman on the verge of collapse but he fell back into that old Archangel training and kept the mercenaries at bay if nothing else. Thankfully they didn’t have too many biotics. It was all moving rather fucking quickly and it was all he could do to hold his own against the guns funneled in through the corridor.

She focuses on her breathing as she clutches the wound on her arm. Pressing it tightly to keep the blood in. Zoning out the sounds of the gunfire behind her. It was the last thing she needed for her to trigger her own failsafe with him right next to her.

Her panting distracts her from the approaching shuttle. It's doors opening to reveal a krogan on a railgun. Ripping their opposition to pieces as the rest try to flee and take cover fire. He glances at the them and shouts.

"Come on!"

[MSG; Tht purple guy]: Uh sure. I gues so. Wht’s up

"A gift. We’re friends and friends look out for each other. And shit, it’s not like you haven’t made me more than that in cupcakes before." He smiled back gently.

She squints a bit. She hadn't made him that many cupcakes had she? Sure she tended to lose track but this didn't feel that even to her. She shakes her head.

"I can't take these... What'll you eat?"
