FINALLY FINISHED THIS COMIC OMG

You've prolly already told us this but bc i'm still a lil confused, to B.M and Draxum have, like, shared custody of Leo and Donnie or smth? Bc they seem to be together still, which I'm happy about bc disaster twins :3, yet in seperate households and have somewhat hangouts or sleepovers or smth??

Yes so Draxum and Big Mama are my divorceship in a sence that they've never been in a relationship but act like they've had split custody of the children for the last 10 years.
What happened was when Mama introduced Leo as her son to the aristocracy Draxum <a Baron, obv saw him and had question. But taking Leo from Mama was to much effort. So instead they agreed that Draxum will share info on the turtles in exchange for the ability to monitor Leo. Also Donnie REALLY needed to socialize with smb but he hated all the other kids so Drax was desperate for anyyyyone to hang out with him

Fun fact! I actually wanted to draw the people in the pizzeria hiding behind menus and pointly looking away from Leo the second he shows up but it didn't really fit in

Mikey is a big ball of sunshine that has never met another turtle, so he's super-duper excited to meet Leo & Donnie and is constantly in awe of them. I mean, they're just soooo cool! Leo is super strong and confident and funny, he even bought Mikey some delicious pizza!
Donnie looked a bit scary at first, basically radiating the don't-talk-to me stink, but it took Mikey showing genuine interest in his tech once for the older turtle to fold immediately.
These two remind Mikey of the imaginary friends he had when he was a small child. He can't explain it, but they feel the same, and he feels pulled towards the familiarity.
Leo recognized the little box turtle as his probably-long-lost-thought-to-be-dead brother, since the chances of there being a teenage ninja turtle mutant running around completely unrelated to them is very unlikely. And Leo has always been kinda obsessed with the idea of having a family so he can't help but reach out to Mikey.
Talking to Mikey brings such pure joy out of him, it's ridiculous. Leo is used to dealing with stuck-up rich assholes, so hanging out with Mikey feels like a breath of fresh air on a sunny day in the park. He's funny and energetic and praises Leo so easily and earnestly it goes straight to his older-brother pride he didn't know he had.
Donnie tries to be nonchalant about the whole situation. It's Leo who's always had this weird fantasy about having more brothers (like dealing with one wasn't enough) and Donnie would totally keep a level head. But curiosity is an inventor's greatest strength and Don's greatest weakness, so he too falls into Mikey's grubby little claws. He just can't help but ask questions! He needs to know. Everything.
And when Mikey asks him about his tech with literal stars in his eyes, Donnie turns into an ego-monologue machine with no off switch. He basically preens at the praise of his younger probably-brother.
Unfortunately for the middle children, they both soon realize they should probably not drag this innocent bystander into the very underbelly of the Hidden City with them. It's kind of a miserable place. Maybe that's why they were so quick to latch onto the little ray of sunshine they stumbler upon? ANY-ways, it's best for Mikey if they stay away. (Mikey disagrees!)
I haven't figured out what to do with Raph yet, but he'll meet his brothers soon enough. Once I find the time I'll also write down the plot, so hopefully things will be more understandable! Hopefully this gives enough insight into them for now
Wanted to add some info about April too!
While Mikey is super enthusiastic about meeting Leo&Donnie April is getting SUPER HORRIBLE DANGER VIBES. Ten alarms going off simultaneously. Why does Leo help them? Why is he so interested in Mikey? Why is every yokai side-eyeing them like Leo killed their dog?? It's all too suspitious and April is NOT on board. She knows Mikey tends to be too nice even to jerks, so she has to remain vigilant.
Leo doesn't really care for her at first, but Donnie is fascinated. Draxum doesn't allow him to talk to humans, and there are none he could talk to in the Hidden City anyway. So when he meets April he's super curious about her. He really wants to know what school is like and what the sun feels like and a billion other things. April is surprisingly happy to answer.

Please explain to me Foot Raph’s relationship with both Foot Lieutenant & Foot Brute, respectively?
Gay uncles. Kind of. They picked him up accidentally and thought he was just a normal turtle until he started speaking? Since then, they've been training him to be a foot soldier. I feel like the foot in rise is not super strict, so he had opportunities to have fun - team building exercises, movie nights, touching grass, etc.
He was pretty much just a kid living in a dojo, and they were his masters. It's not a super close familial relationship, but he respects them deeply.
Lieutenant taught him ancient clan scriptures, like "take things one step at a time", "put your best foot forward", "never get cold feet in a fight", "stand on your own two feet" etc. He's the first person Raph will ask for advice.
Brute taught him how to fight. By the time Raph was 16, Brute was the only person he could fight without hurting them. Brute is also the funny gay uncle so he likes training and going on missions with him.
Raph's real family is Casey. She was adopted into the foot later than him, so he became her de-facto babysitter. She's the only one who can match his intensity, and together they are the physical manifestation of "an unstoppable force".
Raph believes The Foot Clan to be noble, and his masters wise. He thinks that collecting the armor and bringing back the Shredder will restore his clan's honor. He himself is quite the honorable guy past the "the end justifies the means" thinking and weird anger issues.
