In Super Mario Galaxy, menu screens and text windows contain placeholder text in their layout files, which is mostly fitting for its purpose (describing what kind of text would go in that window) but is occasionally more bizarre.
The placeholder text for the icon selection when creating a new file has the prompt translate to "Please choose your favorite face" instead of "Select an icon", and the placeholder text for the Mii icon/any existing Miis is "Bibibibibibibibibibi". Above is a mock-up inserting the text into the finished screen.

truly one of the most demoralising things about being in the job market atm is "only successful applicants will be notified" is practically a universal standard. so you spend hours, sometimes days filling out applications, writing CVs and cover letters only to be ghosted as the only form of communication. Not even a "thank you but this time you've been unsuccessful" email. You're in a constant state of "did I not get it or have they not contacted me?" and you just have to eventually conclude you were unsuccessful without so much as courtesy, "sorry, but thank you for your application." A literal thankless cycle for months and months and months. You'd think with all the ways to automate these processes they would at least have the time, means and decency to acknowledge your submission and let you off the hook, but no. You're just in limbo in every possible way in the name of "efficiency". Solidarity with everyone going through this because it is truly dehumanising and demoralising to work so hard on putting yourself forward constantly without acknowledgement or useful communication of any sort for long periods of time, and most ppl simply will not have any compassion for what that's like.

Hi! Thought it would be handy if there was a post compiling all info known about Mew Mew Kissy Cutie, the fictional media property in UNDERTALE! So I'm gonna do just that ^w^
I'm sure someone has already done this before, but I wanted to take my own stab at it! As a disclaimer, I'm going mostly off my own memory of times Mew Mew has been mentioned, so it's entirely possible I've missed things! Also, I'm specifically focusing on info pertaining to the 'official property,' so I won't be including stuff about the characters of Mad Mew Mew or Pink unless directly relevant.
Anyhow, let's get started!
Mew Mew
Mew Mew is the titular protagonist of the Mew Mew Kissy Cutie franchise. She is "a human girl[...] who has cat ears,"¹ which are a unique feature in the Mew Mew universe and thus a point of insecurity for her. Notably, she also has the power to "[t]o control the minds of anyone she kisses"¹. People she uses this power on don't remember being mind controlled, though Alphys also implies something happens if she misses the kiss (she does not say what). Both of these traits seem to be central to the story of the anime Mew Mew Kissy Cutie, with Mew Mew learning to accept her ears and that she shouldn't mind control people.¹ Mew Mew enjoys snail ice cream,² and has friends of whom no traits can be gleaned, except that they "like her despite the ears"¹ and don't enjoy snail ice cream.²
Mew Mew's design was largely cemented by her appearance in the trailer for the switch release, pictured above, although she's had multiple different designs since UNDERTALE's release, some more major than others.
The first time Mew Mew was ever given an appearance was in this poster appearing in Alphys's lab. Though there's no way to verify that this is Mew Mew ingame, it's confirmed to be such by its placeholder art, seen in the Undertale art book.
This poster appears to have been the basis for Mew Mew's later appearance, as it bears many obvious similarities. The main point of difference is the heart earrings where Mew Mew's cat bells would later be.
Also appearing in Alphys's lab is "a beat-up figurine of a female human with cat ears." Nothing explicitly identifies this as Mew Mew, although due to the strong possibility, I'm noting it here anyway. It bears no resemblance whatsoever to any of Mew Mew's other appearances.
In the Switch version, the Mew Mew doll comes in three different appearances.
Her battle sprite has minor differences from these, as well as the trailer design.
Her appearance in the "Real/Not Real" border on the Switch version has one minor difference worth noting, which is that in place of her locket, she appears to have some sort of rounded decoration that seems to be attached to her sweater. This also gives us a more detailed look at the design of her darker color scheme.
Finally, it's worth noting that the trailer gives us a detailed closeup of Mew Mew's locket, which is unseen anywhere else and typically just appears as a simple golden heart.
I believe this covers all of Mew Mew's appearances across official media. Others, such as the Mew Mew doll in deltarune and Pink, weren't included due to sticking closely with the trailer design. Fangamer merchandise was also excluded, although with one exception all her appearances in Fangamer products more or less match her main design.
Mew Mew Kissy Cutie - The Franchise
The larger Mew Mew Kissy Cutie franchise appears to encompass a number of different forms of media, including anime, video games, and merchandise. Due to the wide expanse of Mew Mew products it can be assumed to be successful, although its general quality is unclear. Alphys is of course a major Mew Mew fan, though deeply critical of certain entries in the series. Mettaton derides Alphys's taste in "awful cartoons,"⁸ though it can't be said for sure if Mew Mew was one of these (the question of Mettaton's own taste is also subject to debate, although outside the scope of this post). In the Xbox port, Mew Mew describes her body, the Animatronic Limited Edition Mew Mew Machine, as being "shoddily made and emit[ting] smoke constantly,"⁵ perhaps suggesting Mew Mew merchandise tends to be cheaply made. Regardless, there are a few different things in the Mew Mew franchise which we hear about.
Mew Mew Kissy Cutie
The first time we ever hear about Mew Mew Kissy Cutie as players is in Mettaton's quiz show. Mew Mew Kissy Cutie is said to be a "dating simulation video game," though few other details are given about it. The game's fourth chapter features Mew Mew and her friends going to the beach, where she buys snail ice cream for everybody and is "the only one who wants it." Alphys explains that this scene is "a very powerful message about friendship," but is not given opportunity to expand on this.²
Mew Mew Kissy Cutie
Mew Mew Kissy Cutie, sharing its name with the dating simulator, is "a human TV show," and Alphys's favorite show in the UNDERTALE universe. Alphys's description of the show gives us the most details on Mew Mew herself, and the show's main themes. To recap, it follows a human girl named Mew Mew, with cat ears and special kissing abilities, and her journey in self-acceptance and taking responsibility over her powers. The latter appears to be the main conflict of the show, as Alphys worries about accidentally spoiling the entire plot when she discusses it.¹
A contrary opinion to the quality of "Mew Mew 1" is given in deltarune, which also sheds light on a couple further details. In a scathing review, Monthly Toon Review writer The Anonymous Yellow Lizard describes Mew Mew's character as "stale," and describes it as treating the viewer "like an animal that will die if it goes ten seconds without seeing a beach ball."⁴ This second detail is consistent with the beach chapter mentioned in the dating simulator, suggesting this is a common setting for the lighter side of the Mew Mew franchise.
Mew Mew Kissy Cutie 2
Essentially nothing is said on Mew Mew 2 in UNDERTALE, besides apparently ruining Mew Mew's character arc from Mew Mew 1. Alphys describes it as "Neither Kissy Nor Cutie" and "Trash," though she's writing in response to an unknown number of people that appear to find it superior to the original.³
It's not made clear in UNDERTALE what format Mew Mew 2 is in, or which Mew Mew it was a sequel to. However, there's a strong argument to be made that it is in fact the sequel to the anime. The Anonymous Yellow Lizard's review of Mew Mew Kissy Cutie 2 in deltarune is explicitly described as an "anime review," and implicitly a "Toon Review," thus suggesting that it is indeed an anime/cartoon.⁴ There's still the possibility for ambiguity, as one could argue that this could be a different property from the one titled Mew Mew 2 in UNDERTALE, though I'd raise the argument that the purpose of this scene in deltarune is to highlight a contrast between the two games' universes, showing different opinions on the same controversial property.
Deltarune also gives more light on the content of Mew Mew 2. The reviewer describes it as being "a dark masterpiece," with "a darker storyline and more mature themes," and "treat[ing] the viewer like a real adult," in contrast to Mew Mew 1.⁴
One very obscure additional source of details of Mew Mew 2 I'll add is from the trailer for the PS4 and PS Vita release of UNDERTALE, in which for a brief moment, an advertisement for Mew Mew 2 can be seen in UNDERTALE's place. This can be debated as a source, but as I treated the Switch trailer as a source for Mew Mew's design, I think its inclusion is fair. The shot is incredibly distorted, so I'll give my own old transcription below, though I can't guarantee the accuracy.

This appears to back up both Alphys's opinions of Mew Mew 2 in UNDERTALE, and its DVD format reaffirms it being a show or movie.
Mew Mew 2 Super Cutey Darkness Dress Up
This is a game mentioned by Mew Mew, seemingly a fan of it, in the Xbox release. Little is known about it besides that it involves dressing Mew Mew up, though its canonicity seems contentious among certain fans, or "fool[s]".⁵
There is a possibility that this is in fact the Mew Mew 2 described by Alphys in her Undernet posts, considering the person Mew Mew alludes to that seems to dislike it is almost certainly Alphys herself, and that Alphys never actually says what Mew Mew 2's full title may be.
The Animatronic Limited Edition Mew Mew Machine
As the name⁷ implies, this appears to be a special life-sized limited edition animatronic doll, with functions for both voice and movement. It interfaces with an unnamed Mew Mew game on the GamerBOX console, "speak[ing] in response to what's onscreen" when the controller is used (the X button is specifically mentioned for this purpose). Seemingly this can also be used to locate the Mew Mew Machine if misplaced.⁶
Notably, one of these became the vessel of a ghost, who went on to become a virtual streamer.
