1. How would Jestyn act to an mc who gets flustered and shy easily?

He definitely will tease mc all the time just to see those reaction over and over again. He loves it and he thinks that's extreamly adorable

How is Assarot would react about a new ruler in the kingdom? His thoughts or impressions about MC?

Hello. First of all, thank you for taking an interest in my character. This is the first time I've received a question.
Where should I start... Hmm.
Assarot is male, 220cm tall.
(For an assassin, he’s got a height that makes him stand out quite a bit. lol)
I hasn't decided on his sexual orientation yet.
He likes to watch someone else in a relationship.
Assarot usually doesn’t pay much attention to the details or condition of his clothes.
However, since these were the clothes he always wore, and because he only had a few outfits left — not to mention the constant nagging from the maids — he decided to do the sewing himself despite his crude skills. (The results were disastrous, though.)
Originally, the chest area of his coat had buttons, but they were all torn off during a certain incident.
Too lazy to sew the buttons back on, he found some hooks and attached them with super glue instead. The butler, upon discovering this, kindly sewed the hooks on properly to secure them in place.
Whether the butler will eventually repair the lower part of the coat as well remains uncertain.
Around his legs, Assarot carries four throwing daggers — two real and two fake.
The sword at his waist is a genuine bastard sword, though he rarely carries it unless absolutely necessary, since it tends to get in the way.
To begin with, it was never meant for assassination in the first place.
As mentioned before, his ability is the power to pull things toward a specific point.
He can draw a target toward a designated location, almost entirely in a straight line, as if pulling it with a rope, and he can only affect one target at a time. The amount of energy consumed depends on the force applied.
He uses this ability to cling to ceilings (stalking...), perform parkour, shove people or divert their attention, retrieve objects, and escape from danger.
It is likely that almost no one has ever noticed his stalking.
He usually keeps a slight distance away, concealing his presence perfectly while pretending he simply happened to be there or blending himself among the puppets to confuse suspicion.
His hearing and spatial awareness are exceptionally sharp. Even with his eyes closed, he can accurately determine how many people are present, where they are, and what they are doing simply from sound alone.
(Conversely, that also means he hears things he would rather not hear.)
If someone were to clearly notice him and seem about to approach, he would flee immediately.
By continuously pulling his own body forward with his ability, he can move swiftly and silently. escaping toward distant, deserted paths.
I think this is enough explanation about Assarot for now, since it’s starting to get a bit too long.
As for the second question:
Assarot had already become aware of the MC from afar ever since he heard the footsteps of an unfamiliar person entering the kingdom.
At first, he assumed screams would inevitably follow, but after the MC safely endured Knighter’s murderous threats and passed Jestyn’s test, Jestyn’s voice changed ever so slightly — and a faint smile appeared on Assarot’s lips...
At the point of Day 1, he is still far more interested in Jestyn’s romance than in the MC themselves.
That may change once they properly introduce themselves someday.
I plan to post more about his past and his relationships with the other puppets once I’ve given them a bit more thought.
+))Ah, I forgot to mention his personality.
He often chats with the maids and has a playful, somewhat talkative personality. He tends to be very expressive and enjoys both teasing others and being teased himself. Sometimes, he even lets himself become the target on purpose.
(It is one of the ways he tries to lighten the mood for others.)
One of his habits is adding affectionate nicknames after the names of people he feels close to, such as:
“—darling”, “—my sweetie.”, “—my dear.”

The tongue of Assarot is similar to that of reptiles such as frogs and chameleons. (It stretches well and..... maybe has some adhesion.)

1 - how come Knighter (and probably other puppets) don't like us?
2 - do the puppets think it's an actual kingdom or do they know it's a theatre and just stay in their roles?
3 - what was Crownus like? As in personality-wise. (I assume he was...manipulative at least but I could be wrong)
4 - is the narrator another puppet/creature or something else entirely?

You will find it later (spoiler). But i think for knighter, the reason is quite obvious.
They know it's just a theater. But at the same time, they see the theater as their real kingdom and their home.
You're right. He is manipulative. Someone also mention that he is silver tongue which is also correct.

They have. But i haven't think about what kind of powers suit them.
Three of them have the same tongue.
3. Yeah, if you’re already close enough with them. Though Maidy would probably still dress you up even if you had just met.
4. Maidelyn: Responds politely. Maidy: Giggles, jumps around excitedly, then slaps your arm. Maidra: Flirts back like a pro.
