Hi!! I recently found out that I kin with Nanami. I remember being GFs with Mikan and it was very very romantic and fluffy. I am still trying to find out some other memories and I will definitely try my hardest to recover them. I don’t mind talking to other DR kins as well! (My kin list is accessible in my links but it doesn’t work on the app and has to be seen through a browser) I am also 18! I don’t mind talking to minors but I will have boundaries set! Headcanons for a trans girl Mikan who befriended a trans boy Fuyuhiko!

Spoilers for SDR2 and DR3 below the cut!

Hope’s Peak Arc

The two of them had their suspicions on each other, but they were too afraid to ask each other. Mikan was afraid that Fuyuhiko would snap at her for asking such a question, while Fuyuhiko was afraid that the question would make Mikan burst into tears and cause an awkward scene.

The two found out about each others transitions when they both met at Seiko’s lab trying to get their respective medicines.

After leaving the lab together, they met up in secret to verify that they were both indeed transgender. An unlikely, but hidden friendship bloomed that day.

Mikan tried her best to find whatever remaining old clothes she had to give to Fuyuhiko. Unfortunately, due to height differences, Fuyuhiko couldn’t give his old clothes to Mikan.

To make up for this, Fuyuhiko decided to fork over some of his yakuza funds to Mikan to save up for her surgery.

Once Seiko was expelled from school due to the gym incident, Mikan started to provide her and Fuyuhiko with the medicines they needed and always kept a watchful eye on Fuyuhiko’s health to make sure he was  in healthy shape.

Overall, Fuyuhiko and Mikan started to hang out more often in class to the point where Peko got curious on the situation. When Fuyuhiko explained that he found another classmate who is transitioning, Peko fully supported Mikan and tried her best to aid whenever possible.

Jabberwock Island Arc

After their memories were wiped, Fuyuhiko and Mikan went back to square one on their relationship. The both of them were afraid to ask their questions, especially during a killing game scenario.

After the events of Chapter 2, Mikan found Fuyuhiko in the hospital and immediately started to treat him for his injuries. During this time, Mikan either saw Fuyuhiko without their binder on or saw the post-op scars on Fuyuhiko’s chest. 

Once Fuyuhiko regained consciousness, the two talked together for a few hours about themselves. It was a friendship reawakening in another unlikely way.

Despite Mikan being busy taking care of the other students inflicted with the Despair Disease, Mikan always tried to buy some time to talk with Fuyuhiko.

After Fuyuhiko healed up, the two started to meet whenever all of Mikan’s patients were asleep. Despite the risk of spreading around the disease, the two always had an amazing time just having each others shoulders to lean onto.

Unfortunately, this all ended after Mikan contracted the Remembering Disease and committed all of the act she did during Chapter 3. Once again, Fuyuhiko had to move on for Peko’s and Mikan’s sake.

Absol the Disaster Pokémon (Shiny) "The only thing unlucky about Absol is its appearance. It protects fields and warns people of disaster, so one ought to be grateful for it."

Blissey, the Happiness Pokémon "It has a very compassionate nature. If it sees a sick Pokémon, it will nurse the sufferer back to health."

Shedinja, the Shed Pokémon "A peculiar Pokémon that floats in air even though its wings remain completely still. The inside of its body is hollow and utterly dark."

Shaymin, the Gratitude Pokémon "The blooming of Gracidea flowers confers the power of flight upon it. Feelings of gratitude are the message it delivers."

Inkay, the Revolving Pokémon "When exchanging information with others of its kind, it flashes the light-emitting spots on its body in a complex rhythm."

A lot of symbolism for Komaeda went into making this team! From Blissey being a caretaker for Komaeda, Shedinja and Inkay being representations of “despair”, and his luck leading him to finding a shiny Pokemon and a legendary. This one was super fun to make, hopefully you like it! - Mod Gonta

Slowking. the Royal Pokémon "It’s constantly coming up with new ideas that would change the world, but as soon as it hits upon a new idea, it forgets it."

Unown, the Symbol Pokémon "This Pokémon is shaped like ancient writing. It is a mystery as to which came first, the ancient writings or the various Unown."

Uxie, the Knowledge Pokémon "According to some sources, this Pokémon provided people with the intelligence necessary to solve various problems."

Ambipom, the Long Tail Pokémon "Split into two, the tails are so adept at handling and doing things, Ambipom rarely uses its hands."

Woobat, the Bat Pokémon "The heart-shaped mark left on a body after a Woobat has been attached to it is said to bring good fortune."

Delphox, the Fox Pokémon "It gazes into the flame at the tip of its branch to achieve a focused state, which allows it to see into the future."

This team was pretty hard to come up with, not gonna lie. I started with Slowking and Unown for its ties to knowledge and letters respectfully and branched on to add more intelligent Psychic types. I added in Ambipom to help Kiibo get some stuff done while in the heat of writing. Hopefully you like it! - Mod Gonta

Misdreavus, the Screech Pokémon "A Misdreavus frightens people with a creepy, sobbing cry. It apparently uses its red spheres to absorb the fear of foes as its nutrition."

Roserade, the Bouquet Pokémon "With the movements of a dancer, it strikes with whips that are densely lined with poison thorns."

Kecleon, the Color Swap Pokémon "It changes its hue to blend into its surroundings. If no one takes notice of it for too long, it will pout and never reveal itself."
