Severe Rationing / Kell of Kells / Open: Motive Reaction
The ball wasn’t all that fun in the Kell’s opinion, other than learning some new dance moves while she was there. Either way, she knew something bad would happen right after it. Nothing good seemed to last in a place like this. Upon hearing the motive, however, the blue eyed girl felt her hands slightly grabbing the hem of her own shirt. 75% chance of poisoning? That didn’t leave them a whole lot of room for the edible food to be grabbed then!
“Th-Those aren’t good odds at all …”
If she ate the wrong thing … Her eyes closed tight at the thought of what would happen to her or the others. But they still had to eat something! The Kell of Kell’s head swam with panic and anxiety as she thought of any possible way to live without the food given, short gasps being audible if one was close enough to her.
Naoki approached Kell who seemed to be freaking out about the motive. “I would say the bear was bluffing….but he’s not…” way to be comforting Naoki.
‘We’re probably going to die”
“I cannot stop being brutally honest, I’m so sorry”
“I find your name a bit strange”:
“Please find duct tape…please”
Naoki was definitely not helping her mood at all, the idea of duct tape sounding great right about now. So what if her name is weird?! They needed non-poisoned food if they wanted to live!
“I-I wanna hit you … but hitting i-is mean … and I’m not a m-mean person …”
Maybe there was cloth to replace duct tape?
He blinked. “You can hit me if you want, I don’t mind” Naoki grew tired of being unable to see out of eye and tried opening the eyelid himself.
That failed and just hurt him even more. “Owowow….if you have to please hit the non bruised swollen eye….Sekai’s punches really hurt” he took out some bandages from his pocket. “This might work?”
“S-Sekai did this? But w-why …”
The same Sekai that taught her those dance moves beat up Nao? No way! Upon seeing the bandages, the Kell accepted them and proceeded to wrap it around Naoki’s mouth to stop him from talking. However, she didn’t know how to tie it off, so it just fell around his neck instead! Nice going.
Naoki moved the bandages back up over his mouth and tied them, unfortunately that was before he could explain why Sekai punched him, no explanation for Kell it seems.
No explanation from Nao? Geez, how mean! The girl stood there and tried to think of something she could do to answer her questions without talking. And then it hit her.
“Hey, Nao … C-Could you answer some questions w-with a yes or no f-for me …? … Just n-nod or shake your head!”
Yes, how mean of Naoki
He tilted his head when she spoke, Kell asked him to answer some questions by nodding or shaking his head in response, Naoki nodded. You could just remove the bandages, but that’s not a good idea.
Well, time to start the interrogation questioning! Brace yourself for lots of questions Naoki!
“O-Okay … Did Sekai … actually beat you up?”
Interrogation time.
Naoki nodded his head at Kell’s first question.
Maybe try asking a few at a time?
Geez, so Sekai really … There must’ve been a reason though!
“Okay … Did y-you do something to o-offend them? Like … b-break a promise?”
Naoki nodded again somewhat, while he didn't exactly break a promise, he did quit being her follower. He attempted to speak, only a few words being heard. "No....I...quit"
