“Alright, I’ll bite. What do you wanna do?”
“The best part about Halloween are the pranks.”
“Bet I can deface more statues than you.”
“Why are skeletons so amusing?”
“That’s a question for you and your psychologist.”
He’s snorting under his breath.
“Trick or treat, motherfucker.”
“Then the holiday spirit isn’t all dead?”
“If you sing ‘this is Halloween’ one more time I’ll shoot you.” <.<
HALLOWEEN SENTENCE STARTERS
“You can go ahead and shoot me, I have a trick for that now.”
Halloween Sentence Starters
The following lines contain spooky, scary and / or horror exclusive Halloween starters.
“Trick or treat, motherfucker.” “I’m terrified to go out on the 31th.” “What do you mean my outfit looks like trash?” “I swear I heard someone calling my name.” “Seriously, are you a puss or what?” “There’s no way back now. It’s dead.” “Why are skeletons so amusing?” “Let’s carve some pumpkins.” “Have you ever felt like murdering someone?” “I smell fresh blood.” “What if we visited the cemetery?” “I have a feeling that’s not going to end well.” “What the fuck are you doing with those worms?” “You’re insane. We’re going to get caught.” “Who’s that pale person beside you?” “The best part about Halloween are the pranks.” “Wanna kill some time?” “If you sing ‘this is Halloween’ one more time I’ll shoot you.” “Heck no. Not spiders.” “Do you think we can get out alive?” “Stop trying to scare me, that ain’t funny.” “I’m here for the candy.” “Do you believe in ghosts?” “I don’t care about Halloween.” “I’ll fucking stab you.” “Shall we play a game? I stab, you scream.” “I’m so in the mood for a horror movie marathon.” “Did you bring the axe?” “We should do something crazy on the 31th.” “I brought the camera, film me while I dig this up.” “Who the hell get wasted on Halloween?” “I’m not playing the fucking ouija board this year.” “I gotta be honest. You scaring the shit outta me.”
We deserve our hard revenge. Everything was taken from us. Let’s take it back. You and I. We’re going to rule the universe.
There are two ways I refuse to suffer. ( c.d. )
“…Why are you like this? Why are you this way?”
He shook his head and then approached Sylar. “You may be joking but you’ll find it’s quite easy to do here.”
His gaze was sharp.
He smiled, a rebuttal to the other man’s bitterness. Adam would know better of course.
“We’ve got a lot of time to figure things out, you and me, and since you’re not getting out of here without me, it doesn’t look like you’ve got a lot of options. Now, tell me. Are we doing this your way, or my way?”
“Lost count. And as long as they can’t regrow their tongues, it worked quite well.”
“Now stop talking and sort this out.”
“Well, no. I don’t really feel like it. I’m quite content to rot.”
@catchthatregenerator cont.
“And how many tongues have you cut out over the centuries? Makes a guy wonder if these threats have ever gotten you anywhere.”
He hoped he pleased her. He kept his arms around her and in times like this, it was tempting to count her heartbeat. He didn’t know how—well. He didn’t know how he’d go on sometimes. He didn’t know.
“I’m not worried,” he said. He reached up and touched her face, just so, thinking. He was about to tell her a bit of his plan when the doors to the tavern burst open. A storm was here and water blew into the place, chilling them.
He would protest but someone had an announcement to make.
“The pirate king is here.”
Which was one of the most absurd announcements ever made, most likely. Has some contenders but there you had it. Adam looked at his wife.
“That, my dear, is the sound of my plans going up in flames.”
It was nothing Angelica wasn’t used to. Always a new surprise wherever her husband chose to walk. She kept a mental tally, counting all the ways he out did himself. Speaking the most interesting lines, half truths, half stories.
She grinned, the buzz of alcohol was warm in side her belly and so was this new puzzle piece. Angelica leaned into the touch of his fingers.
“The pirate king. Shall I run away with him instead?”
Claire closed the window, a frown on her face. It was nothing. She turned and saw the cat judging her.
“’Well, that’s not awkward at all.”
She approached the cat, willing to put him right on the floor. Instead, she began to look for a collar. Not exactly a short-hair. But no collar. Clean though.
“I don’t have any food.”
It was no big disappointment. Sylar wouldn’t degrade himself by eating cat food. He swished his tail in response, turned to stare at the closed window, then back at her.
They were trapped in the cage together now. That was the message. It was time to grow up. She’d outed the special community, but that wasn’t enough. He wanted her to do something about it.
At least in cat form he could snoop around longer, find out what the rest of the Petrellis were planning. Derail those ideas before they concocted something irreversible.
@her-phoenix-heart
Claire jumped at the sound. It was slight and it wasn’t as if she was paying attention to the words of the book. It was just filling up space in her head while she waited for something to happen.
Claire swallowed and for a moment, she just stared at the cat, sitting with her legs curled up under her. She felt heavy, that was it. Besides she thought the cat would go on.
Then it became clear that the cat wanted to perch on the ledge. Something felt weird about it. But she thought it was like how Gretchen had said it that time. She was twisted by what had happened to her. What, was she going to watch a cat fall to its death because she couldn’t open a window now?
She went to the window and after searching, snapped it open.
She responded predictably, with hesitation, yet opening her door to him none the less. It was a hopeful sign that they could reprise their interaction in the future.
His feline eyes narrowed, judging her trusting nature, after all, black cats were bad luck. They lived in a world where people could fly, this new scheme was not so far fetched in their reality. The reality that she unwrapped for the rest of the world.
Sylar jumped down to the floor, and padded across the room casually. He perched in the chair that she’d been occupying, then turned to stare, gauging her next move.
@unheroic
Claire had no choice. She had to close her eyes to it, shut her ears from it, and build herself a safe place inside of her. Her way of thinking of the situation hadn’t changed, no matter if the world had her name on its tongue like an obsessive….and dangerous chant.
Angela helped her. Hadn’t talked to her yet. But helped her. Found a private room and she just read a book during the hours. There still felt like dirt under her finger nails and she was starting to get the idea that her dad wasn’t going to be speaking to her.
She didn’t want to hear anything right now.
It was a special way of keeping tabs on her. Sylar did these things because he cared. Their shared history prevented a more direct approach. She needed his help, the trick was getting her to accept it.
Claire liked animals, he’d noticed as he noticed many discreet details, it was a branch off her nurturing demeanor. For this he shrunk to a new size disregarding the discomfort of containment. Sylar embraced his new form. A cat, black for theatrics.
He leapt to the sill of the window, peaked into the room that they’d detained her in. Of course she’d remained, the spark in her eyes was dwindling. Sylar’s tail twitched, irate. Time to get her attention.
With his claws unsheathed he raked a paw across the window pane.

“Oh Lord, don’t remind me.”
He felt the touches of her hands and there was some energy there, a connection. He wanted her, he always wanted her. He took her hand, getting raising her fingers, and touched his lips to her fingertips.
“That would be incredibly rash,” he said. “You should have told me. Agree and then run away with me, with all his gold in tow.”
She was very pleased with this man, mysterious, philosophical, and probing. A grin fell upon her, and she patted his head with her free hand.
“And you’re not worried that he may win my affections?” It had been her plan to begin with, but their partnership was vitally important. A misstep could counter balance any previous arrangements that he’d made.
What was she asking? Oh Lord, what was she asking? Adam had supplies from his former trip and he’d have to use that.
“Wait right here.”
He went to get his pouch of the horse and he thought about it, an idea bouncing around his mind. He returned, his steps slow. Something was bothering him about the bruise. She would give such blows back, knowing her, and she’d have more bruises. Her hands didn’t look as if she had done anything of the sort.
Strange.
“I think the problem is you can’t attack brutes directly,” he said, taking out some balm. “You have to fight smart.”
He smiled at her a bit.
“Dirty.”
He knew the truth, he imagined. But he felt bad about calling attention to it. He never trusted parents, usually. Most people took advantage of their children and he didn’t know why he thought it’d be any different here.
His unusual blue eyes were peering, it was a risk she’d been ready to undertake. If it remained unspoken she would forgive him for putting the pieces together so quickly.
“I wouldn’t dare to stoop to your levels.”
The words felt bitter in her mouth. She was looking at the medicine in his hands. In this hierarchy he possessed so little, and he was willing to spend it on her. It was not why she had come to him, and Yaeko’s glare softened this once.
“I do not wish to strategize... And I did not want your healing. I have a question for you.”
