Last Sunday after Mass, I met four young guys who attended Mass in rather sloppy clothes. They asked me why I was dressed this way. I explained them that I was a member of UNITY and what this movement for men standed for: order, discipline, unity. They told me that they come to Mass in search of values, but that a movement such as Unity might be a great help for them. I told them how to join, and this Sunday I saw them properly dressed at Mass

Unity and Faith

These young men had not been to church in a long time. It wasn't that they didn't believe, but they always insisted they had other things to do. It was always something different: brunch with friends, work around the house, catching up on sleep, or just not having the time. That philosophy applied to their whole lives too. They had not long-term goals because they let themselves be dictated by their impulses.

Once they found Unity, everything clicked into place. The order that came with wearing a uniform. The discipline that came with adhering to a set of rules. All of that brought clarity to their lives. Their faith was an extension of that clarity. Church was now another place to focus on Unity's goals of supporting their brothers. Faith in God was one way to inspire their faith in their brothers and their faith in themselves.

Hello brothers in Unity

I am in my sixties, newly retired from business administration, devout catholic involved in my parish, and I joined Unity because I am a strong supporter of traditional values of the movement. I think that many young people are lost and unhappy because they have no order, no discipline, no clarity, and I think that I might be of some use to help them.
