Tis the season for cones in the weaving studio! Cones serve as an easy fix when things get crazy on the loom. When warp strings break, the weaver threads a new one in the old strings place, wraps the rest of the string around the cone, and tosses it over the back to make the tension.
With finals coming up, our students are weaving their little hearts out and you can find a lot of these little guys hanging off some of their looms.
