Understanding Ourselves Study
Greetings!
My name is Byron Brooks, and I am a Clinical Psychology doctoral candidate at East Tennessee State University. The purpose of the Understanding Ourselves study is to better understand identity among Black sexual minority men living in the United States. I am seeking individuals who are 18 years or older; identify as being African-American or Black; identify as gay OR bisexual OR same-gender loving OR queer OR has sexual contact with men OR attracted to other men;and, live in the United States. The study involves an interview which takes 60-90 minutes and a survey which takes 10-15 minutes. The interview and survey will take place online. You will be compensated for your participation.
