Among other things, I am an urban explorer and a gamer. This blog of my explorations came to life on June 21, 2014. I am also a researcher, so I do not give locations away. Proud editor of destroyed-and-abandoned. A kindred spirit once said: "I suppose some asylums serve their purpose long after they close their doors."

The place that had it all. We were lucky to have seen it in quite a decent state. There were several fires in 2019 and it is/was up for auction. Due to its severe state of decay and the vandalism it had to face, that beauty might be demolished soon. Our personal non plus ultra, Italy, June 2017.

This place will forever be in my memory. That moment when you are already half through the fence, take a look back at the street and a police car drives right past you. With the officer inside just grinning at you. Only in Italy…
