anyone that complains about old xian’s characters/story/timeline in an unhealthy way (cancelling, making others feel bad about reading, becoming the toxicity they complain so much about), and that on top of that, doesn’t give monetary support to old xian, should LEAVE, go read another BL, good luck finding one that fits your morality though
the story has always been slow, since the start, if you suddenly can’t keep up with the slow development, that’s on YOU, you have no right to complain. on the other hand, if you want to make sure young readers or whatever don’t want to fetichize abusive behaviors, that’s completely understandable, but just because a story or a character is showing a behavior that shouldn’t be tolarated in real life, it doesn’t mean the story or the character is bad or wrong as long as the behavior isn’t normalized within the story and the author portrays the toxicity in an explicit way, it also, as weird as it sounds, doesn’t mean the readers aren’t allowed to enjoy reading darker topics for whatever reason, so, just make sure you don’t ruin the experience of other readers and remember to treat characters as characters and not as people, and people and artists as people
"it’s 1 step forward and 2 steps back with he tian” and? doesn’t that make him even more interesting? is progress linear? seriously, just stop reading if you dislike what you’re reading that much to the point of having to fill the fandom with toxicity every time something in the story goes wrong
I dislike she li, he pisses me off and I’m pretty sure other people hate him too, yet I don’t see a whole mess of morality rants when he fucks up, all I see are people making memes and enjoying the story even when they don’t like what’s happening, see the difference?
