You realize a Sin'dorei would never be with a Human romantically, right? They view Humans as uneducated mongrels. Zack wouldn't trust a race that incarcerated a creature of Light to fuel their power over the divine either, so there is that. So many factors make that union unsuitable really. Not to say Zack is ugly, but he wouldn't quite compare to the elven standards of beauty either. -cough-
I see.
HE’LL WORK ON THAT ELVEN STANDARD OF BEAUTY, LEAVE HIM ALONE11
Dear anon,
There are exceptions to every rule. Typically, trolls and elves wouldn’t really work together or be near one another if they could help it. However, we now have a troll for a warchief and the sin’dorei haven’t run for the hills burning everything in their wake in protest. Not to mention, plenty of people RP elves and Trolls romantically involved. Typically, one would also say that elves would never work for the alliance. Yet the idea of a sin’dorei who doesnt exactly adhere to the concept and ideologies of their race/faction and working for the highest bidder hasn’t made too many people freak out. Ex; Sykaris doesn’t give a fuck about the horde. Honestly, if I could RP her cross faction more often, guess what, I would. Why? Because HER personal experiences, and HER PERSONAL point of view has sculpted her opinions about races. She has been with trolls, humans and kaldorei alike. She has ZERO issues with it because of how her experiences molded her. She’s not a drone, she didn’t buy into that hate that has perpetuated the history of her culture just because someone else didn’t like humans or trolls or night elves.
What you are essentially saying is that based on history alone and the general consensus of a race, that our characters cannot form their own opinions and viewpoints based on their personal experiences. So because ALL blood elves wear red, mine had to as well. See how silly that sounds?
It sounds more like you have some jealousy about a roleplay that you are probably not even involved in. I would suggest you take up knitting and stop sipping hatoraid. I hear lavender helps to calm you down too, Try some of that in a bath and chill the fuck out on something that doesn’t affect you.
Cheers,
<3
(( I love this response!
Just wanted to add to the possibilities before anon tries throwing the “blizzard doesn’t support it” card… Garona Halforcen. Look her up, anon. Might find her rather intriguing (or disgusting). She breaks every conceived rule in the book… I mean… an Orc/Draenei half breed?! Lantresor of the Blade too! Oh and let’s not forget the awesome Med’an… Orc/Draenei/Human…
I mentioned these NPCs because they were all born of interracial relationships, which not only included (obviously) sex, but *gasp* the likeness and a relationship that led up to sex!!
Your argument is invalid. Open your mind (and a lore book) before trying to call out people on their RP choices.
By God, sykarisdawnshadow, I do believe I agree with you about anon’s jealousy.
In other news, Nionor is a High Elf and is returning to the Eastern Kingdoms. Cannon: She married a Human… and has a half-breed son. She doesn’t directly serve the Alliance nor the Horde (mercenary) but being that she was raised with the Humans, she just naturally feels more comfortable with them… vs her own race, whom she can’t relate with at all.
Maybe you come visit, Syk!! <3 ))
Okay, no.
It is the silliest thing for you to tell anyone how their race views another. If you're working on history and lore alone, then perhaps you should recall the long-ass alliance between Humans and Elves, in which the Elves -swore- to protect the humans and fight with them. The Elves were largely impress on how quick their magi students learned and even mastered the Arcane, if anything the elves could be considered envious of the Humans who wield the curse of youth, driving them to accomplish more in a shorter period of time.
Oh, and uh... I can't be the only one that recalls that Lor'themar was going to withdraw from the Horde to go back to the Alliance during the whole deal between the Thunder King.
Further on, Elves have very mixed feelings on many issues. Some support the Horde, some support Lor'themar, some support the Alliance, some support the redeeming Death Knights, some support the Trolls that now fight beside them. --- In our world, their is acceptance, open mindedness as much as their is bigotry and closed mindedness; why in the world would the races of Azeroth be any different?

Yes, top shit. Only royal flies enjoy us.
The first sketch of Val'thalore.
The sword is to be altered heavily to something more simple. I hate unrealistic swords.
But other than that, I was impress considering I gave little to no direction of what I wanted drawn.

Vikings and House of Cards all come out in February. Sounds like I'm not sleeping for a month.
I like writing fucked up shit.
I admit, I feel ten times worse doing harm to animals in roleplay than when I harm a person.

Tibetan Sword
Dated: early 16th century
Measurements: overall length 82 cm
The sword has a straight, double-edged blade, slightly ribbed at the centre, featuring superficial flaking. The wooden grip features fish skin covering and a brass band, incomplete quillon, an iron pommel in two pieces, the front one pierced having five circles and riveted to the smooth. The wooden scabbard is covered with leather and shark skin, with iron border and central raiser, featuring brass decorations at the front surface, richly pierced and engraved. The rear one is smooth, slightly relieved at the centre and decorated with five iron bands.
The sword is pretty rare, there are four or five similar swords only: one is features at the National Museum of Liverpool (16 6 05 74), one at The Victoria & Albert Museum (IM 290 1907) one in The Namgung Monastary. Another, that has an iron grip, at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; all of them similar, for typology, to the finely gilt, iron sword kept in the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds (XXVIS 295).

Marry me.
It’s unimaginable and disgusting that this happens to children that don’t even understand what’s happening to them.

I don’t normally put political things on my blog but this one got me bad
After miraculously surviving a vicious, near-lethal assault and being left for dead in a freezing Winnipeg river which she somehow crawled out of before being found unconscious on the riverbank, 16-year-old Rinelle Harper made a powerful appearance at the Assembly of First Nations, which opened its three-day proceedings with a drumming ceremony in her honour.
In an unusual move, while Rinelle was recovering in the hospital, her family allowed police to publicize her name and face in order to draw out public information about the assault. Soon after, two men were arrested and charged with attempted murder. Her name has since become a rallying cry in calls for a national inquiry into missing and murdered aboriginal women.
Harper spoke to the convention holding an eagle feather, as hundreds of First Nations chiefs and delegates listened. Her statement was met with a roar of applause and a standing ovation:
I am Rinelle Harper and I am from the Garden Hill First Nation. I am here to talk about an end to violence against young aboriginal women.
I understand that conversations have been happening all across the country about ending violence against indigenous women and girls.
Some people who have visited with me have shared their stories of healing. I ask that everyone here remembers a few simple words: love, kindness, respect and forgiveness.
As a survivor, I respectfully challenge you all to call for a national inquiry into missing and murdered indigenous women.
making HONEST ANTAGONISTS who believe they’re in the right and firmly believe in what they’re doing is SO MUCH MORE INTERESTING than making them “crazy” because of some outside influence. make villains who believe they are the protagonists
