I've more or less finalized the designs for the folder, business cards, and letterhead- which are essentially just the logo. The website design is about to be much more involved!

I think Im axing the farmer due to racial/socio-political/economic discrimination factors. We want the website to be as inclusive and welcoming as possible!

Branding and Product ID

I am currently working on branding my mother's business, Hudson Varick Resources. She works in slow food, and connects institutions with small sized and local farms. She helps the farmers with their finances and sustainable practices and then markets them to places like schools so that they can become more profitable. 

She also serves as a place where those looking to make impact investments can go to and learn how they can help turn around global warming.  Because of this, her logo has to relate to down-to-earth farmers and the sleekness of the business world. The logo has to sell growth,nature, community, pride, and feel-good righteousness.

Local Economies Project

Karp Resources offers a very whimsical take on the conflation of business and food. Her logo has stuck food items onto the spires of sky scrapers, and offers an earthy and energetic color. Local Economies Project's design is similar, with stacked letters in a homely yellow onto the texture of a red barn door.
