Why I love writing for Attuma X Okoye: ❤️⚔️🩵

The enemies to lovers potential is endless. It brings out great dialogue prompts and tension is unfathomable.

Excerpt Example:

Okoye found her eyes tracing his cheek, taking in the line that was undoubtedly her handiwork; deep and with purpose. She had intended to blind him.

In some ways, she had succeeded.

“You awakened something in me that day. I was enamored. You entranced me with how we danced together.”

“I was trying to kill you. There was no dance, you’re blinded and foolish.”

that line hit me on my ass when I wrote it.

They’re, in my opinion most likely to actually become canon out of all the ships simply because… it’s so easy to make sense of it.

Two warriors from opposed kingdoms brought into ally ship with a grudge or pining. It works; they work.

(Two lovers forbidden from one anotherrrr, a warrrrr divides their peopleeeee)

Truly a love for the ages. I hope Marvel (specifically Ryan Coogler) sees the potential in it and makes it canon, though I feel like they hinted at it in the movie the parallels of Attuma and Okoye’s chemistry did not go unseen by the audience, let alone executives. This would be great character development for Attuma of Talokan! See my theory for BP3! Attoye villians here!
