Gold Diggers of 1933
“I never did much advance planning. I’d get all the people on the set before me, and when they were all there, that’s when I’d start to think and go to town. I only used one camera; I didn’t need any more than that. I knew what I wanted… If you use four cameras, the editor gets to choose the shot he likes. They didn’t do that with my pictures. They went together the way I wanted them to go together.”
Busby Berkeley November 29, 1895 – March 14, 1976
Ginger Rogers in Swing Time (1936)
“I like having my picture taken and being a glamorous person. Sometimes when I find myself getting impatient, I just remember the times I cried my eyes out because nobody wanted to take my picture at the Trocadero.” - Rita Hayworth

So I said to myself not long ago that I would take more happy snaps and today I took advantage of my surroundings. Feeling totally at ease in an auto shop with a couple of ol’ dawgs by my side I went snappin’! The long and short of it, we were at Lucky’s Speed Shop, Botany to shoot Tara Moss aka Victory Lamour for the cover of Adore Pinup Magazine. Organised by Australia’s own no.1 pinup girl and talented hair and makeup artist, Kat Creasey aka My Little Rockabilly. I hope you enjoy these as a little teaser featuring Lucky and Peanut (shop dogs) and some of the custom beauties we worked with to keep you all going until we release these shots. A huge shout out to Ben, owner of Lucky’s for being the host with the most. L xx
