Battle Lines

The Blackout Leeds Cockpit 21st January 2014, supported by Ratattack and LostAlone. Great supports and great gig; I liked Sean standing on the bar for some of the set, and the amount of singing done from in the crowd. Cockpit 2 is one of my favourite venues, big enough to feel like a real gig and small enough to feel intimate.

Ashestoangels in Doncaster at the Leopard, 18/1/14. Great gig. Excellent sound quality and a lovely crowd, with support from Down your Weapons (played a great cover of Good Charlotte's 'The River') and All Living Prophets have Awoken (very young, very punky, played a couple of good crowd pleasing P!ATD covers - Mona Lisa and Nicotine).

Ashestoangels were as exciting and earnest as ever, with Crilly and Falkor all over the stage - does Crilly cartwheel at every gig?- and some highly energetic bass and drums from Nico and Jim. Looking forward to the new album when it's made.
