i think sometimes we’re all so focused on how jamie lost the love of her life, and how she had to live without her for several years. however, we don’t think about how dani wanted to spend her life with jamie, and she got to do exactly that. dani spent so many years surrounded by the upmost happiness and love, in the little world she created with the love of her life. jamie never left when times got hard, and continuously showed her that she was worth everything, that loving her was the easiest thing she could ever do; like breathing. dani died knowing that the person she created a life with over the past thirteen years loved her with her entire heart and they both filled those years with so many beautiful moments, so many firsts and all the love the universe could ever hold for them. yes, the beast might have won the war but the love that dani and jamie shared overcame all the obstacles that were put in place for the both of them and continued on even after dani died. dani, who was so scared to commit to someone without feeling trapped, who oppressed her feelings and her inner self to make the people around her happy, finally got to be the person she had once dreamt that she would become, she got to grow with the person who showed her that it was okay to love wholeheartedly and without any guilt. dani overcame her fears of marriage, of loving someone because jamie showed her that it was okay to want those things and to have them given in return. jamie showed her what true love and happiness really was, and how incredible her life could be. jamie showed her and gave her a life that she was so proud to live. and in the end, dani got to spend the rest of her life with the woman who loved her the most and i think that’s the most beautiful thing.
