Volkan hails from Detroit and he landed in Lockwood Springs 3 years ago. He’s close friends with Danny Anderson and Hunter Cross after meeting them in prison.
Volkan sometimes goes by the nickname Z. But also Volk, Vol, and Danny calls him Volley Ball.
Growing up Volkan had a loving family but due to their surroundings, his father resorted to crime to help ends meet. His father went to jail a lot just for petty crimes that helped them eat so Volkan grew a distrust for authorities.
He dropped out of school when he was fifteen so he could help support his family but followed the wrong crowd soon after. He partied a lot and also used petty crimes as a way to make quick cash.
When he was twenty he made the biggest mistake of his life while driving under the influence, which ultimately sent him to prison for six years. Volkan is extremely remorseful for his actions.
He had to toughen up big time in jail, and his aggressive behaviour to survive added another year to his charge. He was then transferred which is how he met Hunter and Danny. The three of them bonded, and promised they’d be waiting for Volkan when his sentence ended.
When that day rolled around, he took them up on their offer to try and get back on his feet in Lockwood Springs. At first Volkan was determined to get back to Detroit but now he’s content calling the small town home.
He works for The Keepers as a dealer, and sends money back to his parents whenever possible.
Volkan is talkative and friendly, but he’s flighty and also impulsive. He learned from a young age how to be street smart and he easily gets into trouble.
Has a heart of gold, especially for people he cares about but has a pretty hard time showing it.
