Been doing research into 1920s farms for a fic I'm going to be writing. Today I learned that the combine harvester wasn't invented until 1938.

And now I'm waiting for a doctor because I've had what feels like heart palpitations for about a week.

Got shouted at yesterday by Mum because my room was untidy. She proceeded to call me a disgusting animal, and accused me of having mental problems before shouting that I'm not normal. All this without reason or provocation.

And people wonder why I have issues.

Found a letter I wrote to myself in 2010, but I'm not allowed to read it until 2015. I'm curious what I wrote because I really don't remember.

It'll also be interesting to see what past me thought I'd be doing/had done when I read it.

the few times I’ve gone snorkelling this is the most intensely scary but amazing thing about it, the bit where the reef ends and it suddenly just drops off and you cant see the bottom or what’s down there, and you swim over the edge and suddenly your in open water, and you feel so vulnerable like you’re a fish that lives on the reef, and you finally understand finding nemo

Not having a good day. The guy I’ve been talking to for the past couple of months isn’t responding. He’s done this before because he works a lot, but it’s been thought out that we might meet up this weekend… Just makes me feel a bit shit, really.

Going to Reading Festival this month!!

Got weekend tickets with my best friend, and I'm so freaking excited!! Can't wait to camp out and see some amazing acts and endure the disgusting toilets and- and AAAAAAAAH I'M SO EXCITED.

It's going to be two weeks on Thursday!!
