Ollie had spent most of the day with his family. His parents and his two siblings. He had invited his husband but Bentley said he had things to do, which Ollie didn’t question. It was both his birthday and Christmas Eve, but he wasn’t offended that Bentley was doing something, mainly because he knew that they had the evening reserved for one another. Ollie was excited to spend the night with his hubby, hell, he loved that he could end his every night with the love of his life. He’d spend every single minute with him if he could, but of course, adulting had to be a thing in living life.
Ollie had finally gotten home with two bags of presents from his family, some he had opened but he even had some for Bent’s from his mom and his sister. He unlocked the door and made his way in, struggling a bit, almost dropping a present but he had good balance at the moment surprisingly. He set everything down on the nearest surface before looking around, “Bents?” he called out as he walked further into their place. His eyes set sight on the set up laid out and he immediately blushed, “Hubby, what did you do?” he chuckled as he covered his mouth and looked around.
“It’s so PRETTY!” Ollie exclaimed and opened his arms for Bentley to come to him, his fingers wiggling in impatience. “What are all those present for?” he asked as he eyed all the presents under their tree. “Mama and Eevee gave me christmas presents for you by the way, love.”
Bentley was quick to pounce on his husband as soon as he heard the other’s voice. “Hubby!” he squealed. “I missed you. But did you have fun with your family?” He knew it was important for Ollie to spend time with them, after all Bentley’s own mom spent a lot of time with them.
He took the other’s hand and led him inside their home. Then he walked him up to the mantel and pointed out their stockings. “Look inside, baby. There’s all sorts of stuff for you to eat. Speaking of eating- I hope you’re hungry because we made lots of food. All of your favorites.” Bents motioned to the table that was also festively decorated with a poinsettia centerpiece and lots of little snowmen.
After he had shown Ollie that part of the house, he dragged him over to the tree. “They’re all for you, silly. It’s the most wonderful time of the year, which of course is your birthday. But we can open those later, right now I want to kiss you.” He let go of the other’s hand and wrapped his arms around his husband’s neck. Pressing kisses along the other’s jawline, he eventually reached Ollie’s lips. The first kiss was gentle, but he moved his hands into the other male’s hair and pressed their lips together with more passion. “I love you,” he whispered. “Happy birthday and Merry Christmas.”
