So I’ve been playing around with trying to redesign meganium lately for funsies...

I don’t dislike meganium at all, but idk I’ve just always been more fond of bayleef’s design (surprise surprise) and I could never quite put my finger on why. Meganium somehow doesn’t really look like a natural progression from bayleef to me? It feels like it’s missing something

This isn’t as different as I set out to make it, i’m still work shopping and I will definitely post more meganiums later. Honestly, i’m not a fan of the antenna. I like the big leaf a lot better... I don’t get how leaf becomes antenna. But I also can’t think of what the heck to put up there! Nothing looks right. I don’t want to copy the same leaf, I want to think of something else. so that’s probably what will change later. This is what I got right now :0

I started uncovering my first ever group of original characters the other day, they were these over the top magical sparkle wolves I first created when I was 8 or 9 years old. they were based on a game I played with my friends at recess I think. They’ve gone through like 10 different drafts and design changes over the years. I was determined to publish a multi-book series with these dogs and I wrote like 80 pages when I was 13

I used to literally draw nothing but wolves from the ages of 7-14, but I haven’t really drawn them in like 5 years for some reason?? Anyway, is anyone interested in seeing the original designs of these mega powerful dragon-hybrid sparkle wolves from my edgy 9 year old brain because they are WILD
