24 Hours: The final rush
The clock is ticking down, panic is in the air and there's no one is sitting around idly, completely the opposite of the atmosphere 6 hours ago. Last minute additions and fixes have been applied to everything, even I'm too busy to blog, hence this entry being an hour late! For our project it meant small bugs were ironed out, sound was hastily added (Ride of the Valkyries to accompany a battle between Gods, gloriously epic!) and a bucket load of stress! We're over it now, waiting to demonstrate our work to the judges with more anxiousness than stress. As happy as we are with our game, the competition is very tough. There have been some fantastic games made over the past 24 hours, and even those that are not quite finished show amazing potential. This has been a great display of ability and creativity and I'm proud to have been a part of it.
I'll end with the promise of a final video to come to show off the finished product, and a great big thank you to everyone that helped put this event together. It has been a resounding success in my eyes, and I'm certain that I'm not the only one that has hopes for another in the future.
