━━ ♡ vanessa was born and raised in sydney, australia. when she was little her parents separated, her mother moving back to paris and vanessa staying with her father in their hometown. 

━━ ♡ when she turned sixteen, her father decided to move to chicago, and so vanessa finished her high school education in the united states. with an art critic and a photographer as her parentage, the girl was never inclined to focus on school work, and the adhd diagnosis stamped on her forehead as a child certainly didn’t help. instead of moving on to college like most of her peers, vanessa finally focused her full attention on her art. she started to sell her pieces more often and help her dad with his photography, often making visits to her mother’s gallery.

━━ ♡ when her father told her he was to move back to sydney, the girl was left with a few options – she could move back to her hometown or she could stay in chicago, a city she’d grown to love. once her father left, vanessa decided to enroll herself in university, if not to further her skill, at least to experience the ‘college life’ everyone seemed to love so much.
