For as long as I can remember, I’ve been interested in clothing and apparel. I’ve been a loyal follower, and collector of brands most of my life, I can’t even count the number of conversations I’ve had about starting a clothing line with friends in the past.

I’m the type of person that always has a side project on the go, I have a constant need to be busy, to create, to solve problems, to find more sustainable ways of doing things. I have 101 interests that (I’ve only recently noticed) mostly revolve around design.

When things started to slow down over the past year, shops started to close, and my online purchases steadily increased, the idea of a clothing brand naturally resurfaced. I’ve sold t-shirt designs on various sites throughout the years but I’ve never really been satisfied with the whole process. I never had control over the quality of the items, how they were packaged, shipped, folded etc.

Enter SOMY, a design driven lifestyle brand. SOMY is an acronym for Stories of my Youth, Sneakers of my Youth, Summers of my Youth, whatever you want to make of it. SOMY is all about the experiences of youth and how these moments shape and form who we are today. With a love for minimal and sustainable design, SOMY blends the worlds of surf, skate, art and design. We have sourced the best quality materials for all of our items, our t-shirts are 100% organic cotton, ethically sourced and PETA Approved Vegan and our packaging is made up of recycled and degradable materials. Even our hang tags are made from 100% recycled card.

It’s not really t-shirt weather at the moment so to get the ball rolling we are releasing a range of everyday beanies to get you though the winter. The everyday shallow crown beanie features a ribbed knit and woven clip label at the cuff, and it also comes with free delivery.
