Team Inside Motorsports delivers in the 1st round of the FIM Supermoto European Championships 2016

Jerez, Spain, April 3, 2016 // Team Inside Motorsports delivered on its promise to compete for top positions in 2016 after the first round in Jerez. #13 Kevin Fagré performed with a 5th in the total, a personal best, and #864 John Stambeck, premiering in the S2 class, with an 8th position.

In the first race, Fagré had a good start, and kept close contact with the leading pack and then continued the race with a well kept 5th and a best lap time of 01:14.849. For race two the weather had turned overcast with a light drizzle. Fagré once again had a good start keeping on 5th until he had the opportunity to overtake Monticelli in lap 8. Lap times slowed significantly over all during the second race as the rain started falling. Despite the weather conditions, Kevin held on a 4th position for the race with a best lap time of 1:15.705, subsequently finishing 5th in the total.

Stambeck unfortunately opened the first race getting tangled in a crash in the first turn, but managed to recover and end up in a 12th position with a best lap time of 01:15:760. In the second race Stambeck got off to a good start with a 11th position, then quickly gaining up to 10th and continued to climb throughout the race, overtaking 4 additional riders ending up just after Fagré on a 5th position in the race, and a total finish of 8th.

#377 Adrien Vandercappelle additionally ended up 16th in the total after his debut race in the S2 class.

Team Manager Eric Bougelet commented: “When putting together the team this year I had full confidence in our riders and with this first race of the season I’m happy to say we delivered. Both Fagré and Stambeck are getting comfortable with their new bikes and the team and we have the best possible outlook to continuously improve over the season. We’d like to especially thank our sponsors Yamaha for providing us with such excellent bikes in the 2016 version of the z450”
