Hello Princesses and Princes! Do you love Etude House? I do. :) So when they announced that they'll be having an event, I really saved that date on the calender to attend and join the Princess Academy 2013. Tickets got sold out really fast, I was lucky enough to get one before its too late. I initially planned to go on both days but due to some things, I was only able to attend on the second day. Anyway, I just want to share some photos with you. :)
On the entrance. I love the pink lights, its a PINK day indeed.
Etude House Water Color Blusher (No. 2 Coral) Review
Have you used a watercolor that looks like this in your art class during your elementary school days? I use the one that looks like an eyeshadow palette but I also saw the one in small tubes before.^^ Anyway, so for today I'll share with you my review on Etude House Water Color Blusher in No.2 Coral. :) Honestly as soon as I saw this on the internet, I wanted to have it because of the cute packaging.^^ So yes, I bought it even though I haven't read much reviews about this before, and I think I trust Etude House products so I'm not really worried buying it ;)
It has manufacturing date above. Nothing much is written at the back, no list of ingredients or english information.
(Photo above is from Etude House Philippines FB. Its available for Php348.00)
Etude House Water Color Blusher is available in 4 colors.^^
Here, just to compare its size. Its small and comes in a squeeze type tube.
It is sealed, so you're sure that you get a new product. Its cap is okay, it keeps the product closed tightly so you don't have to worry about it leaking on your makeup pouch.
For first time users, just be careful in squeezing out the blush, you may accidentally end up getting much product. A tiny amount is enough. :)
What I like?
- Cute and unique packaging. As expected from etude^^
- It has a seal.
- Hygienic to use since its on a squeeze type tube.
- It feels light on skin and its not sticky. Its cream type (actually its quite watery) so its easy to apply and blend too.
- Gives a natural color, very wearable for everyday use.
- No breakouts!^^
- The tip/ opening or hole (whatever you call it^^) of the tube is just the right size, it small so its easy to control how much product you'd like to get.
- A little goes a long way. But if you are going to use this everyday, of course you'll finish this little baby sooner.
- Its sheer but you can build up its color pay off.
- It smells nice but fades away after few minutes. I'm not sure though if others would like its smell.
- Its available in 4 colors (pink, coral, apricot and lilac)
- Affordable
- Its small and light, you can bring it along anywhere.
What I don't:
- No list of ingredients.
Neutral:
- It doesn't last all day. It just stays for about 3-4 hours and eventually fades. You may want to bring it along and reapply if you want.
Overall, I like this Water Color Blusher from Etude House. Color and price is good. The packaging is really unique, cute and handy. I have combination-oily skin and it works just fine, I think it will suit any skin types.^^ By the way, Etude House will have their PLAYHOUSE PRINCESS ACADEMY on July. Are you going? I don't have a ticket yet, can't go to EH because of my duty schedule. I'm planning to visit any etude house branch tomorrow to get one (but I hope there are still available tickets since everyone really wants to join the event.~~) I missed the Pink fair so I hope I could go on this one. I'll post an update if ever I'd get a ticket^^
Annyeonghaseyo! eotteohge dangsin-eun?^^ CC cream is getting more popular today, so yes, I joined the craze to find out what's with cc creams. :) I decided to try Etude House's CC cream in Silky first (yeah, I'm thinking of getting another one but still looking for reviews).
I wanted the glow version too, but I'm afraid it will not suit my combination-oily skin especially with our hot and humid weather (yes even if its already rainy season now, its still hot most of the time -_-) So yes, I decided to try the silky version. The packaging is simple and pretty, as expected from Etude House.^^
For more info about this cc cream, let the following photos do the talking.:))
(Photos above are not mine^^)
CC Cream is basically something that corrects and has more skin care benefits, if you want more coverage/ makeup, then you may use BB cream. :)
This is P798 in Etude House PH stores. Got mine from Kkochipida :)
The pump is good and dispense just the right amount of product you need.
This cc cream is also white at first with tiny beads ( color capsules?) but blends and adjusts to your own skin color.
Eyebrow pencil + EH CC Cream + EH Water color blusher + lip balm.
What I like:
- It has spf 30/ PA ++
- 8 in 1 functional effects
- Packaging, I like it white, simple and clean looking.
- The pump is good
- Information and direction for use is provided in English
- Scent is okay
- Oil control is okay, its pretty fair if I'm in an air-conditioned room but if I'm outside, I still have to blot.
- Semi matte finish but there is still a hint of dewy/ glow^^
- Gives a little pore coverage
- Does not oxidize on my skin
- It didn't break me out
- It feels light on skin and its not sticky.
- Its texture, it not too creamy nor too watery. Its easy to apply and blend.
- One or two pumps are enough.
- Locally available :)
What I don't:
- My skin may get too white if applied too much or not blended properly.
CC cream has a sheer coverage, so it can't really cover much like pimples, scars or dark spots. It can be used alone if you have a pretty good skin or during your nice skin days (what did I say? :O ) but if not, you can use it as a base and put bb cream on top. :) Use a moisturizer on dry areas before applying this. So far I can't say that I love it to the point that I would throw away my bb creams, but I like it. :) I sometimes use this alone, or pat on a little bb cream on top. Let's just say, I use different things according to my mood or whatever I feel like using.^^ I'm still curious about the Glow version though and would like to try it. (Can anyone throw a sample for me? lol. haha) Okay till here. See you on my next post. :)
Holika Holika Cover and Hiding Liquid Concealer Review
Hello! Its been a week since the last time I posted a review. I'm sorry, I'm usually tired after my duty that I chose to just sleep or read other's blogs when I'm at home. Hopefully I could have at least 2 or 3 posts this week. So let's start with Holika Holika's Cover and Hiding liquid concealer.^^
"Holika Holika Cover & Hiding Liquid Concealer will conceal your blemishes, dark circles or any other skin imperfections that you may have. With its liquid formula, you can easily apply it anywhere and blend it into your skin. The tube of the concealer is fairly large so you will have plenty to use for long periods of time. The formula itself is smooth and silky so you won't have any issues with clumping or drying."
Benefits:
Smooth formula
Great coverage
Longlasting
Lots of formula per bottle
Directions: Apply directly onto any blemishes, dark circles or other skin imperfections prior to makeup application. You can apply lotion or a moisturizer beforehand. Blend out with pad of ring finger or brush. Continue with regular makeup regime.
I don't usually use concealers, because I'm okay with BB creams alone. But since I have this and got 2 little pimples 2 weeks ago (maybe because of lack of sleep.-_- But hooray, they're gone now!^^), I tried using it. So here, I'm going to show you a photo of my cheek.
See those two red bumps? Its annoying, but let's not be stressed by it, it will be gone after few days. For the mean time, we could use concealers to cover it a bit. The redness lighten a bit right?
-Since its a liquid concealer, I find it easy to apply and blend.
- Mild smell.
- Light to medium coverage
- Tones down the redness of my pimple
- Semi matte finish
- It matches my skin, gives a natural look
- A little goes a long way
- Packaging is okay, its simple and not bulky.
- Its affordable! (5900 won)
What I don't:
-Its not yet available locally. But with the product, I can't think of any.^^
Neutral:
--There are only 2 shades available: light beige and natural beige, I'm not sure if it will suit morena or darker skin tone.
Tip: to avoid dry patches or caking, use a moisturizer before applying this. I notice some dryness on my sister's blemishes/ pimple marks when she used this. But I didn't experience that dryness.
~This is a good and affordable concealer. Feels light on skin and easy to apply. I can compare this with Etude House Surprise Essence Concealer but Holika Holika has a lighter coverage.

Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Combination Watery Cream Review
Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Combination Watery Cream. Whew! What a very long name for a moisturizer! This is what I currently use at night...
This moisturizer is awarded by Get it Beauty! (Korean Popular Beauty Show), its a favorite from the "blind test", so I thought it may be something good to try.^^
There are actually 3 types of Nature republic super aqua max cream, 1. Pink for dry skin, 2. Green for combination and 3. Blue for oily skin.
Though the jar is heavy, I find the lid's design cute^^
Spatula is provided :)
What I like:
-Its moisturizing
-Smooth application and it feels light on skin (I think it has a cooling sensation after applying it. Or am I just imagining?^^)
-It has an expiration date printed on the bottom (forgot to take a pic)
-It doesn't make my skin oily, I don't wake up with a grease ball face.
- I didn't had any allergic reactions to it. No breakout, yey! :)
-Has 3 types to suit your skin (for oily, dry and combination)
- Spatula is provided
- I like its mild scent, reminds me of a cologne.
-Ingredients and directions for use were written in English
- There are a lot of products inside, I think it will last up for months.
-Available locally, just visit any Nature Republic branch near you.
What I don't:
- I can't think of any, maybe someone who has a sensitive nose when it comes to face products may not like this, but I don't really mind it because it fades away after few minutes
Neutral:
-The packaging. Its heavy! not travel friendly. But the cap is cute! And I dropped it once, it had 2 little cracks but it didn't break.
I like the Aloe Vera Soothing Gel and now, this Super aqua max combination watery cream is another moisturizer that I like from Nature Republic. It provides moisture and doesn't make my skin oily. It feels light and smooth on skin <3 Okay I'm just repeating what I said above, so that's it. Toodles! :)
Hello! How are you? I'm back with a quick review. ~~ Have to post this before meeting up with my friends later.^^ Here is a lip product from Tony Moly...
This gel type tint magically changes its color once you apply it on your lips.^^
It comes in 3 different colors. 01- Clear, 02- Apple Green and 03- Purple Grapes. I have the clear one. I'm not sure but I think all has the same effect.
For me, its not love/like at first use. I really have a dry lips so when I first used it, it didn't really moisturized my lips. I thought its just sticky, maybe even drying and just one of those color changing balms. Then I used another lip balms and when my lips were in good condition, I gave this a second try and now its okay for me, I can finally use this again.^^
L: Bare lips R: With Tony Moly Berry Berry Magic Lip Tint
*It looks more pigmented in person
What I like:
- Its fruity scent!^^
- Its color! And it last for about 3-4 hours
- Small and light weight
-The gel doesn't melt even its super hot these days, well its like a balm type tint.
- A little goes a long way, so I think this little tub will last for months.
- Affordable! P198 only. And you can purchase it locally :)
What I don't:
-Not hygienic since I have to use my little finger. I know I can use a lip brush but most of the time, I'm too lazy to use one. ~~
-Since I use my little finger, its always color pink because the tint.
-Its sticky when you first apply it.
Neutral:
--Its moisturizing power (again, For Me. If you have a normal lips I think this will moisturize your lips well.)
I like this! I can sweep it on my lips so that I won't looks pale, then I'm good to go! I think this is something really worth to buy, its affordable plus it can give your lips an instant color! If you are in a hurry or you are not really into lipsticks but want to have a pinkish/ reddish lips, go and try this magic lip tint from Tony Moly. :)
Hello again! BRAND ALERT!: Too Cool For School is now in the Philippines! They now opened their first store in SM Mall of Asia. When I read about it, I wanted to go and visit their store. Too Cool for School is a unique cosmetic brand from Korea. Its all about a story of a girl who is too glamorous to just go to school. Anyway, as much as I wanted to take pictures inside the store, I got shy to ask if I could or if I will be allowed to do so. Sorry. So I just went around and checked out their products. The packaging are cute and unique, well their store is actually unique and cute too, not your ordinary super girly designs but its actually kinda creepy because of the medicine bottles and dolls but also cute in its own way. Who would have thought of designing their stuffs with dinosaurs?
You can find their store in Mall of Asia Entertainment Mall Level 2 Glass House near South Parking, Upper level of Krispy Kreme.
I got a small brown paper bag because I just got few little stuffs. They actually have the yellow paper bag if you'll purchase more items.
There were a lot of interesting products to try, but right now I'm kinda restraining myself from splurging for new stuffs as I have bough quite a lot of things last month. I just got the mini version of their BB Foundation Lunch Box in matte and 2 sachets of Mc Girly Good Morning Rice Wash. But I'll definitely go back for more especially their Dinoplatz Escalator Mascara, its really something different and cool! Its an adjustable mascara with cute design! The SA who assisted me is kind and nice btw! I hope Too Cool for School will have more branches soon! *Somewhere in Ortigas please?^^
