Starting my dog on adult food. Fed with this yesturday and gave him a brand new toy. Before bed i noticed his face felt weird, then my boyfriend noticed his face looked bumpy and swollen. We watched him and did research, while also calling family and friends for opinions and help (we're in a bad spot and absolutely can't afford a vet, if i could, that would've been the first thing we did) eventually we decided to try giving him benadryl and if it didnt get better an emergency vet visit would be happening weather I put myself i debt or not. After we gave him benadryl he fell asleep and by the morning all of his swelling went away. We've been trying to decide what made him react like that, so today I gave him a small amount of the new food^ and watched him. He ate at 11:15am and by 2:30 was showing allergic reaction signs so I know it's the food now.

Idk what's in there that made him react like that, but I now have this bag of dog food and another 14lbs bag of dog food he can't/won't eat and i have nooo idea what to do with it.

If anyone knows what to do with extra dog food help

And if anyone would've handled the situation differently plsss lmk if I did things wrong this is my first time owning a dog

I just struggled to buy something for my bf and I to eat and he fucking gives away half of it to his fucking adult sister bc she didnt get her lazy ass up early enough to eat before her doctor appointment and he said "she needed it" NO SHE FUCKING DIDNT. SHE NEEDED TO GET HER ASS UP INSTEAD OF SITTING AROUND ON HER PHONE WHEN SHE'S KNOWN ABOUT THIS APPT FOR WEEKS.
