//My husband deleted his blogs and he has informed me he has no intention of returning, especially since no one seemed to notice or care. Not a single message on Discord, no messages to me to ask if he’s okay.

For those of you claiming to be his friend, allow me to advise you of something that you may wish to take to heart: that’s not being a friend. That’s unkind.

He is a really great friend to people. He has given people money even when it wasn’t really in our budget because he feels that other people should not have to struggle. He likes to check in on people just to ask them how they’re doing, even when his depression was so bad it brought him down into his shell. And this is the return for his loving-kindness: nothing.

IRLJ didn’t do those things to be paid back. He does them because he’s a good guy with a big heart. He believes in paying it forward.

Your lack of reaction to his disappearance is disheartening to say the least.

My heart hurts for him, because I do get to see what a great man he is, and now he likely accepts this as just more confirmation that people are only interested in him for what they can get out of him. When shit like this happens, well, it makes it a fuck of a lot harder to state my case and help him realize just how important he is and that he does have worth.

Some of you may still be working and not had a chance to sign on, so I’m giving you guys a chance to think that maybe, just maybe, you would be so kind as to check in on him. He has discord. Ask me for it if you want. I don’t want to give up on you as his friend. But I’m discouraged on his behalf. It’s hard to be encouraged when you watch someone give a lot of himself to others and get ignored in return.
