I've been attending the same college for 3 years now and have been doing A Levels in English and Film when I really wanted to do Art and Design (I chose to do English because of a lack in confidence in my artwork) and I found out last night that the college offers an apprenticeship opportunity in COSTUME AND WARDROBE.

You guys know how much I want to work in costuming and this would have been the perfect opportunity to not only work in costume and wardrobe (even though I'd like to do costume and prop design) but to gain experience and learn how to sew and seam and pleat and paint and all that.

So! I'm doing commissions now and here are the juicy details: I will be taking them on the page for now so you can inbox me for details or with any questions or queries you might have.

I am going to open a shop on etsy and/or storenvy and work from there; all commissions will of course be customized, but the basic price and appearance will be listed. Anything additional and/or sizes will need to be given to me upon placing the order.

It will work in a way that means I will receive any payment before the product is made as the product/commission will be made using that money (duh heh).

I am the type of girlfriend who will throw myself 100% into making the people I love feel better and feel loved and whole, but when I need help I will lie and say I don't or lie and say it's a friend with that problem not me. In other words I can be great at helping people but I will allow myself to break into a million pieces in the process.

Again, I don't know where else to say something like this. I fear that my friends on any of my social media platforms would sit back laughing. That's why I like tumblr. Right, so I'm crying because I just... I know I can't do it. How can I? Even if I got a job, my wages would most likely end up going to my mum to help pay the bills or I'll have to contribute to the food shopping, or spot her a tenner or twenty pounds here and there and it might not sound like much, but it always accumulates and I can't ask her for it back, can I? Jesus. I'm her daughter I shouldn't be thinking so selfishly. I should be willing to give up my earnings in the future to make sure my family are okay, but I can't stop thinking about my own future. It's just not going how I want to it to already and that... that fucking sucks.
