Dada Workshop

I have learnt to use processing to make some simple coding.This is random video player, when the program run video in data folder will play randomly in real time, but it wouldn’t save. I figured out the code

saveFrame(”frames/####.png”)

image(source,0.0)

is allowed to save the played duration.

Also this program can do some special effect to real time capture frames from laptop web cam, such as pixelate and move screen.

This is quite difficult but I have lot of fun on testing different coding and changing those setting to create vary pattern.

Stripper drawing

Stripper drawing for third year student Mio project about stripper interview.

I found that they differ from what I usually draw. It is difficult to draw freely when I have being told clearly to draw certain object, I am not able to imagine as normal. I did tried to draw different version, but I have already got a fixed perspective in my brain, it is really hard to find the way to reform the image of stripper.

Workshop

The very first image when I know Donald Thump. He is way more annoying than a baby.They both make noise for some purpose, but Thump purpose is more evil than want milk or change pantie.

3D software Sculptris

I was learning a 3D modelling software call Sculptris. It is very easy to shape model but I need to learn how to export a useful format and make it move.

True Blood intro

Self-initiated inspiration reference. This intro showed variety of clip with different content. This intro doesn't have a story line, but they did contain content related to vampire and created a mysterious atmosphere.

Ink with egg mashing

I glued some egg shell and fill they with ink, then mash with hands to create a crash black eggs.

Exquisite Corpse Drawing Workshop

I volunteered in uni for Brighton Fringe Festival. I need to encourage people to draw exquisite corpse drawing and hang around on the wall, most of them were kids, but surprisingly adult also in to it. Seems everyone had lot of fun in on that day.

Type design (visual method)

This is a type face that I designed based on an image of powerful dominant government. It is stubborn, boring and have a weighty base.

I have learnt how to create my own type face by TypeTool, it is very useful and satisfying to customise my own typeface. But I found it is really difficult to make a whole type with correct balance, spacing, weight, and use shape to illustrate meaning.
