Hm. I've been told that the other children of the house were here, and thus I've taken the liberty of joining them as well. My name is Lucio, an apprentice under Valencina, former Sottocapo of the Thumb, studying the Palermitan style of swordplay, perfecting it with the sole purpose of becoming a Textbook for a certain someone to learn from.
Regardless. I'm open to questions, and I will answer them to the best of my abilities.

A long silence follows as Lucio reads this over. "I don't... You say that as though I'd understand completely. Am I expected to do something for this month?"

Lucio waits until she eventually lets her grip on his ear go. As far as physical abuse goes, this... wasn't that bad.
"... Of course." He muttered, stepping away from Valencina to grab a few additional cans of beer from the fridge kept nearby— their reserves are running out. He'll certainly be requested to acquire more for her, soon—before dutifully returning to her as he places them down within his Master's reach.
His hands are then quickly tucked behind his back, as always. "More beer, as you've requested."
how would you feel if someone harboured romantic feelings for Valencina?
I'd feel as though I should question their choice in tastes for a romantic partner, if they've decided to fall for my master.

Initially I was supposed to just draw Val and make it yume art without Az in it but then I wanted to draw Lucio and after that I figured I couldn't leave them missing one and why not since I haven't drawn him yet so here's these three
pinches his cheek with likely a lil too much strength
For as much as he wanted him to stop, Lucio still kept his hands tucked behind his back as his cheek was pinched by the Middle Nursefather.
After a few minutes, he simply turned his face away in an effort to get him to let go. "...Did you... need something from me."
Lucio did his best to remain unfazed as Lei Heng pats him on the back— clearly in a friendly manner but evidently he didn't see the need to hold back his strength a bit more. At the mention of his Master, he simply nods, glancing away for a moment to watch as other people parted to make way for the both of them, careful not to let his eyes meet theirs as they watch him.
...It was actually kind of impressive— the treatment that a Capo of the Thumb was given, and Lucio can only imagine his Master having something similar back then— some stories of her time she rattled off to him at one point or another.
He noted the other man's question, and he gives it a moment to think.
"The House has seen its fair share of trouble." Lucio says, finally. "Disputes among it's inhabitants, though I wasn't a part of it. It's really not worth mentioning."
"Nothin' at all? C'mon now kiddo, yer my go-to bud fer all things related to th'house and ya got nothin t'report?"
How painfully dull. Lei Heng had expected something far more scandalous, something that would make his mouth go agape considering who lived within those walls; yet to receive nothing broke his heart. All he could do was sigh, "H'well...m'guessin' y'ain't got nothin' new in your world, eh? No new friends, no crushes, nothin'? Nah- what am I sayin, considerin' how tight of a leash ol' Valencina got on ya, y'ain't got nothin in yer personal life. Hahaha!!"
They were still a considerable distance from where they needed to go and already were they running out of stuff to talk about. Geez, what else did kids like Lucio interact with?
... Is he? Lucio isn't that much of a gossip about the events that take place in the House. Usually, he kept to himself, interacting with others only when necessary.
...With his master, that is. On occasion he does break from that to talk to the other apprentices, but... how long has it been?
"I'm afraid that's how it is; things are usually fairly dull in the House. Once or twice there's been conflicts that arise with the other Nursefathers, but I tend to keep myself away from them." He nods, keeping mum about the things he hadn't been present for. "I'm... certain you've seen far more exciting things than I have, out here."
Seems he's offering to listen, instead.

Just as quickly would Lucio allow himself to be dragged out of the Corridor, (...although he would've been fine with simply following after) before exiting the House proper, relaxing ever so slightly as soon as he was out of Valencina's sight.
He was lucky that Lei Heng was a tad more laid-back, but the fact remains that he's still dealing with higher authority, so he gives only a small nod in response.
"...Of course, Master Lei Heng." He says, a hand tucked behind his back. "I'll follow where you go."
"Glad t'know I can trust ya to keep up, kiddo! I would'a had most folks' ripped in half fer not managin' to keep up with me, but I doubt Val would allow that, haha!"
Spoken whilst he pats the younger man's back, albeit with much more strength than needed. Almost every individual cleared the way for the both of them as they walked past, with the occasional tripping and shoving to avoid potential issues with Lei Heng. Cigar ash is carelessly tipped onto the concrete, walking at a leisurely pace and occasionally glancing toward the younger man.
"Anythin' excitin' happenin' at that there House of Spiders? Yoshihide didn't tell me jack when she was livin' there, sooo hopefully you can give me th'juicy details~"
