She was very young to be dealing with such chaos. He could only assume the ‘friends’ she referred to were not much older, if at all aged ahead of her. Alas, it was the way of the world. There were too many mysteries of the entirety of the situation to unravel at once. Kenshin had been in shock before. He had long learned how to operate with nothing to use at his disposal.
