this is a very early development blog for my Interactive Fiction This Too Shall Pass. Here I will be posting progress and content relative to my game, as well as answering any questions that may come.
It’s been 15 years since you failed the one thing that literally everyone was relying on you for. And now you may be the only one they can rely on once again.
A cryptic horror about facing past mistakes, trauma and exploring why it is possibly not a great idea to shove the responsibility of saving the world onto the shoulders of a child.
What happens to the chosen one if by all accounts and measures, they failed?
- fully customizable MC (name, physical appearance, personality, sexuality, gender and gender presentation)
- Aro/Ace option doesn’t cancel out sexual relationships/romance
- Trans and Non-Binary inclusive
- Option to choose how you spent the past 15 years, including vices and relationships
- Large focus on Character and relationships
- Not Romance-driven but there will be the option to have romantic/sexual relationships with characters.
- Delve into how your MC copes with grief and trauma
- Will you take this as a second chance or do you see this as the universes sick attempt at a joke
