Literally I am losing my MIND because I watched on Showtime and I saw these scenes???? Nia caught the bouquet and then it flashed to Lena looking happy/wistful and Winn said ‘looks like you two are next’ to Brainy and Brainy said ‘yes there is 100% probability Nia Nal and I will be getting married’

And Lena’s reaction to being asked to be a godmother was precious and I am so mad nobody outside of Canada apparently saw it hfjdhdjd I can’t believe the CW fucked up their finale THIS badly

Day 14 - Flying

“Wait, wait, wait.” Nia raises her hand to interrupt the conversation. “Hands up if you’ve been flying with Kara.”

Kara slouches in her chair when she starts to see where this is going as Nia takes in all the hands slowly raising. 

“You’ve all been flying with Kara?!” Nia’s mouth hangs open in betrayal as she turns to stare at Kara, “You’ve never taken me flying! I want to go flying!” 

“To be fair, Kara really only took me flying as a kid.” Alex replies from the couch she’s sitting on with Kelly. “I don’t think her catching me as I throw myself from a building really counts as flying.”

“Although, it is fun to be carried by Supergirl.” Kelly adds on, and laughs when Lena leans over to tap their wine glasses together. Kara has to force herself not to sit up at the exchange. 

“This is so unfair.” Nia huffs. 

“If you would like, I can put in a word with Lex, see if he’s open to changing targets for the next assassination attempt.” Lena deadpans, her mask only breaking when Kara chokes on her drink. 

“As tempting as that sounds…” Nia pulls a face  before she looks back at Kara and bounces in her seat. “We should go flying!” 

“You sound like Esme.” Alex says reflexively, her mouth snapping shut when Kara yells her name and Nia gasps. 

“Even Esme has gone flying?!” 

“No?” Kara fights the temptation to cover her ears when Nia shouts, then begs, then shouts some more. 

“I would really enjoy going flying with you again.” Brainy throws in when Nia stops for a breath. 

“You can fly! You have your legion ring!” Kara cries, but it’s too late. Brainy barely acknowledges what she said, Alex and Kelly are voicing their agreement, and excitement is growing in Nia’s eyes as she sees everyone join her side.

“No one is flying, you’ve all been drinking.” Kara tries. 

“I’ve only had one.” Lena replies unhelpfully, shrugging a shoulder when Kara eyes snap in her direction. 

“Me too.” Alex adds, lifting a beer bottle that Kara can hear slosh. 

“One.” Kelly and Brainy and Nia echo. 

Kara looks around at the expectant faces before she sighs. “Fine.” 

“Yes!” Nia is on her feet before Kara can spin into her suit. 

Kara takes them out over the city one at a time as the rest of the friends continue to hang out around the tower until only Lena is left. She hasn’t actually asked to go flying, or made a move to get up from her spot on the floor. But Kara doesn’t want to leave her out, especially not when Lena’s the one she wants to go flying with the most. She’s still trying to figure out if she should ask when Lena gives her cape a gentle tug. 

“Don’t I get a turn?”

Kara turns to find Lena looking at her with bright green eyes and flushed cheeks and a shy smile that makes her knees weak. 

“Uh, yeah, sure, if you want.” Kara lets out a deep breath when Lena’s smile deepens and she lifts an eyebrow. “Yes.” 

“Promise you won’t drop me?” 

“I would never-”

Lena laughs as she wraps an arm around Kara’s neck, fingers scratching gently against the baby hair she finds there. “I’m just teasing Supergirl.”

“Right.” Kara laughs as she pulls Lena closer. “Is this okay?”

“Mhm.” Lena hums as she braces her other hand against Kara’s opposite hip before they lift into the air. 

“Do you think they’re coming back?” Nia whispers, trying to stifle a laugh when Kelly shakes her head.

Supergirl is ending and they’re taking soft curly-haired Lena Luthor with them!!!!!!
